please someone let me know how to block particular numbers. i cant find the reject list!!! someone is disturbing me with calls at odd hours. i dont want to switch off my phone in order to avoid the person.. thank you

Sorry for the late reply.Straight 2 ur question, I barely had 3 days with the phone.After the first full charge it took 30 hours before the battery dropped below 10%.Well u must understand 1 thing that this is a 4" SLCD ,1 of the biggest Mobile displays out there and to keep it lighted itself requires lot of power.Overall u have to prioratize needs. If u are a frequent caller u hav to limit ur usage of Wifi / BT / Audio / Video /Camera.Battery for normal usage is OK . For frequent usage in HD movies / games battery is weak.Otherwise this is a great device ,
Pros :4" screen , 1 GhZ Proc / 478MB Ram / GPU /SLC display (Better than any display in the market except AMOLED)
Cons : No flash in Cam , Secondary Cam Poor , Battery Weak for HD application users

Itz a awesome phone and worth of money...
The only drawback which i have observed is battery backup... fully charged phone wont even come for 12hrs... and also its take 3hrs to charge completely..
guys, how can i overcome this problem plzzzz suggest me..
Is android 2.3(Gingerbread) available for this phone???

actually d phone is very awesome n worth of price.... the only drawback is battery backup... it doesnt come for even 12hrs when fully charged... n also it takes 3hrs for complete charge... hw can i overcome this problem guys???? plzzz suggest me... is GB 2.3 available for this samsung galaxy sl i9003?????

Thanks for the help. Yes the phone did start. Well in the first 1 hour I did some moderate testing. The best thing about the phone was the 4" screen. There is no branded set at this price to give you a 4" set.The music was cool. The IEM headset they provided was terrific.But it has a real cheap pouch bag though. I may have to throw it down the drain a buy a new one.As against posted by most of the users here I did not find any major flaw in the battery till now. The audio/speaker volume was not very good but the audio quality was very good.I wonder whether this is because of the support for 5.1 audio output.Initially I was moving between the following sets: LG optimus black /SE Xperia Mini pro /Xperia Ray/ Motorolla Defy. Well my city took away 1 of the options . Motorolla Defy is NA in Kolkata.LG optimus black matches with my I9003 in all respects except that it has the most wanted LED flash, but then again it costs 2k more Plus.SE Xperia MINI Pro was too mini. It looked almost like a ITC Classic Cig Pack.Xperia Ray was good but costly and feature wise less than I9003.Finally The I9003 is a fantastic product as Sammy produces the best quality LCD/LED (at reasonable price) in the woods and 4" Super Clear LCD is a treat .You can also get the AMOLED version but that will be way above the budget (+ Sammy has discontinued Galaxy S AMOLED), SII AMOLED is 29K.I am not that much of a Camera buff as I am a Music buff.So the absence of the flash didnt matter much to me.Just One thing I was wondering as the veterans here can answer. I know that installing Different driver software can bring out different audio volumes out of same Sound card in a computer. so is there any possiblilty that in future update ( probably to next ver of andriod ) there can be any improvement/ tweaking of the speaker volume.

Now sinc you already started recharging,phone should start?
If phone is strating,well and good,keep charging for another 6 hrs else rush to the stores.

I just bought the set. But the phone would not start. The salesman tlod that it needs full charge for 8 hours. Now when I put on charge and switch on I just see the Big half yellow battery on the screen with 5 movement dots beneath. is this normal or I have to rush to the store ???Pls help
