I am using Samsung mobile phone SGH-D... moreanswer to ur query...
1. are u talking about the general,meetings,silent ect ect because omnia has no profile like in nokia mobile...
2. yes u can assign ur tone to any of ur contact person in ur phonebook...
3. i think u cannot save ur messaages in ur memory card like we are doing in the nokia phones BUT u can save ur data in memory card THRU backup....
hope im not mistaken to answer ur 3 question...

Is there any way to listen to music throught the bluetooth headset in omnia......cause in my phone it jst gets activated when i call someone.....but when i play music it jst plays throught the speakers.....Does anybody have any solution??

Hi all,
I am using Samsung mobile phone SGH-D840 now, I have the will to bye Samsung Omnia but I need to know 3 things before buying it:
1- Is it coming with profiles like Nokia mobile phones?
2- Can I set a tone to the caller?
3- Can I save the messages in the memory card?

omnia users if you already memorize all the SAMSUNG OMNIA INTERFACE then be ready for the SPB SHELL because its too way cool from my phone....but u know its so sad because im only using the trial version........anyway i will enjoy this...

Omnia and Xperia are PDA, and have a lot fun...it's cool..
Xperia have real qwery, and screen resolution bigger than omnia...but slower than omnia. omnia camera has 5MP... for me, i choose omnia, more powerfull
5800 have a lots of fan but INNOV8 best design phone of the year.

In terms of technicality, ability to customise, and functionality SAMSUNG-OMNIA, SONY ERICSON-XPERIA being WM-based stand out from the 4 you mentioned.
I am an OMNIA user for the past 6 months and softwares upgrades have improved and stabilised the system. That has even improved battery life greatly (1 charge lasts 5-7 days of moderate use). Usability depends on your level of customisation of the interface. What I can safely say is that Omnia's hardware is capable of comfortably supporting all levels of customisation available on the market now.
Xperia being introduced later still has issues with software, that will be addressed in time I suppose.
Go to the forums to find out the progress of upgrades.
