Joe Pino, 08 Apr 2009Someone tell me about the touchscreen sensibility please...It has the worst touch screen feature, don't even think of buying it, you will soon not be able to send sms as the keyboard will mistype characters. dictionary is also horrible

after ten months with this phone, it's still the biggest cpu on the market, and fastest too, i highly recommend it to those people who are interested, and also many firmware upgrade available for free, also higher battery capacity, now im using 2200mah battery
gives more talk and standby time.

                a couple more questions...

nokia have always been good on the phonebook management...
does this phone still duplicate phone & sim contacts? or does it only show phonebook entries or sim entries?
oh & the alarm settings, does it still have those really boring ringtones eg. alarms that you can sleep through or something that will wake your neighbors?
what does Samsung proprietary connectivity port mean for usb?

                  1. whats the sensitivity of the screen?
                  2. can one type other than with the touch screen?
                  3. ive always like the sent messages for sms's on nokia phones, has samsung got this option now?
                  4. video playback, whats it like? eg. 25fps or 30fps?

I cant give you an advice its your money and your choice but if you ask me, I would go with the Omnia. It does have more features like the divx read and xvid also a better camera it has 8 to 16 geg of internal mem. and on top of that its expendable to 32 gegs, the biggest diferecne here is the OS, other than that it has nice big screen and a sleek design.

It depends on what you want to do with the phone... if you just want a touch screen, and a phone that can play music good, then go for the NOKIA 5800, but if you want a phone that does that and more, choose the OMNIA

                                        Pro Tip:
Turn off 'phone' at wireless manager screen to extend battery life when you don't need to call or recieve calls eg. at night but you still want a alarm to wake you
