Samsung released OMNIA in Korea as "T*OMNIA" equipped with upgraded 3.3″ WVGA touch screen (480×800) and Satellite DMB function.
Even the Japanese version got upgraded resolution and DMB. It's time for Samsung to relase an updated Onmia for the rest of the world guys.

There is a mistake on one of the specifications. The expandable memory doesn't goes up to 8 gb, but 16 gb. Just so you know! :-)

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970If u do not fancy "winmo"mobiles, then go for innov8 since getting used to winmo compared to symbian os is bit difficult. Innov's camera is better. Video recording is at 30 fps & slow motion at 120 fps. Screen does not suffer under direct sunlight& the screen resolution is definitely better.Nevertheless Omnia, as an all-around phone is the best in the market. For yr info I own these two phones but fancy Omnia.

Dear all,
I have the Omnia for some time now and I can't get use to it. Not that it's a bad phone. Not at all! But it's just not my type of phone. The main reasons are:
- I really miss a build-in stylus
- Windows mobile is not really handy to use (as all microsofty programs are!)
- I find it not really handy how you must type in contacts
- The touch key-pad blocks very fast, which makes it not easy to type in long numbers (e.g. from phone cards)
- I prefer a normal keypad
- I do not like the complete dependence of a touch screen
- I miss handwriting recognition, this is (as far as I know) only possible in English)
- Camera is very slow
- Scrolling is not always that handy and easy
But there are also good things:
+ the brand Samsung!
+ the design
+ used materials
+ Screen resolution(a lot of complains, but this is acceptable)
I find the design of e.g. the Samsung U900 Soul much more attractive and functional. So I am thinking of buying an other type of phone. I still don't know what type. The bard will probably be Nokia or Samsung.
Any suggestions?

Now I'm looking for a CHINESE firmware link (i900XKHJ3.MLI, but then a Chinese one), so I can give away this phone to someone I know over there.

In advance many thanks, best regards Jason.
