Andrie, 13 Oct 2008I bought last week, really good overall but the WORST thing... moreI have the same problem as Andrie. I bought my Omnia last week and after 5 recharges, I still only get about 30 hours of normal use. The last time I charged it to full, I did not use it at all (no calls and messages, no alarms, bluetooth and wifi are off, nothing running in the background) and it lasted only about 40 hours before it got fully drained. Does anyone have a clue how to fix this?

Well, this is very encouraging news that you have give. I will certainly try to update to the new ROM. Regarding the second part of your question related to memory, hopefully I will be abel to provide you with some thing to check on by tomorrow. I think this would resolve your problem.

I bought last week, really good overall but the WORST thing is the battery. It only can stand for 1 day. Does anyone know where to buy better quality battery for this Omnia?
Also how to install a software or program in it? Thanks.

BTN, 13 Oct 2008I just got the phone a couple of days ago.. and for some r... morenot enough memory on the camera? make sure its pointing at the storage area for saving, but it sounds like its just the working memory error. go to the task manager and end all tasks... then try again

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970the n95 is nice, but old. the n96 is better. the omnia is a different beast. you need to look at what the phones offer and what you will use more. the omnia has a very steep learning curve, but once learnt its great. the nokia is likely to be more easy to use. buttons still beat touch screens, but may not be as trendy!

With SPB Mobile Shell the menus are really fast and the camera quality is really good when you see the photos uploaded onto a computer. If I figure out how to optimize to get 55MB free working memory and 8GB dree storage memory I think this phone will be perfect.

I just got the phone a couple of days ago..
and for some reason every time when i touch on the camera button to take pictures, it keep son saying "Not enough video memory. please close other applications and try again." i've been sitting for hours trying to figure out what to do to fix the problem..
so please help meee :[
if i dont fix it and my mom wants to use the camera, im screwed.

Which one is bett... moreSamsung Omnia is critically hailed as the greatest mobile phone in functionalities today, no doubt about it (Nokia N96 is the second). Basic problem is always the parts. HTC Touch Pro is better than Diamond, the duo are more expensive than Omnia but in parts its an advantage. Choose: functionality or parts? If you choose both, you're a winner (rather than buying iPhone).

Undoubtedly, Omnia is the greatest mobile phone today. Its versatile features are awe-inspiring: optical and functionality. Other great unit is the Nokia N96 - the first unveiled high-end or all-in-one mobile device.

anonymous, 24 Sep 2008I just got it and used up the battery. when you plug it in... moreWhen u connect the phone to the mains u will see an indicator to this effect on the right hand top corner of the screen.When the battery is fully charged the power on/off switch will glow green. Trust yr issue is clarified to yr satifaction.

Hello Guys,
I don't think most of the people whoa are posting the questions have thoroughly gone through GSM Arena Review.
Almost all the answers are availabe in the detailed review and in my opnion it is an indepth review covering every possible aspect of Omnia.
I just need to have some feedback from somebody who is actually using the phone and has upgraded to the new ROM.

As I have mentioned previously I am a hardcore Samsung fan & have owned almost all of their high end phones other than the Innov 8. Omnia, in general is an awe-inspiring product.However I have a Serious issue with the memory. Recently I transferred around 1GB data(songs) via bluetooth to my 16 GB(internal memory) handset & alas the now infamous warning i.e Low Memory sign popped up.I have not down loaded any other progrms/files. Can anyone edify me in this regard. Thanks & Regards.
