i like the omnia and i like what samsung have done, but the screen res is too poor and it is in need of decent video recording + 3.5mm jack.

i heard that will be a software s... moreHey you. What you heard is wrong. Iphone does not need memory cards because it already has 8 or 16gb of internal memory. Iphone does not need to boost its camera's megapixels either because 2mp is enough for a camera phone. Itunes is actually marvelous and we just love it. We consistently get high quality music and videos, not to mention that it's a very reliable source. Well we also don't have to travel miles just to send a photo to a friend because we can email it to them via our iphone whether they're right next to us or in a different country. Can you BT a picture to Europe when you are in the US? So don't feel sorry for us =) Yes, the iphone is such a great phone, and you are right to request everyone to be on their feet and applaud =) Thank you.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Oh yeah, dude, are you ging to get an 'upgrade' for the Ifones woefull battery life,like hving to recharge half way through each day lol!. The Iphones name is mud throughout phone stores in this cuntry. Omnia is a 'real' phone, and not just pretty packaging

Love my Omnia, however people saying it is hard to hear me on the phone.... are there any adjustments for this, any suggestions, tried different volume setting ...no help

i heard that will be a software soon can make handle memory cards and will boost the camera to five mega pixel and guess what with a flash .... can u imagine . u well even be able to read it as a hard drive and play everything u had on it without converting through itunes (wow 32 gig of media.... this well be interesting)... and i think ur guys standing near wold love to share their photos with u ... what the hell yaaaa u dont have bt in ur phone ...ops... sorry in ur I phone . such a gr8 phone dont u think ... every body plz get on ur feet for the i phone....

Oh and btw, you can now send free MMS using iphone's Flutter application. It just came out I guess two days ago. There's also that iphone application called Air Share that lets you transfer and view files from your pc or Mac or even Linux to your iphone, better than BT by the way. There's also news of a 3rd party application that would allow you to take videos with your iphone. So omnia fans, any upgrades coming up for the omnia that would change the omnia's resolution from qvga to half vga like the iphone's? Any updates for omnia that would upgrade the plastic display to a scratchproof glass display like the iphone's? Any upgrades from omnia that would allow you multi-touch navigation like the iphone's? I can go on, but nah, I can already see you turning red out of envy, hahahahaha.

I just updated my iphone to the updated 2.1 firmware. My iphone even performs better than ever. The slight lag when you open contacts has now been fixed. The UI seems to even flow smoother and faster, and is somehow more responsive. I'm just like, WOW. To think that it already had an awesome interface, Apple even found a way to make it even better. There's also a significant improvement on its 3G connection. I really never had a problem with it before, maybe because there's better 3g signal here in LA, but I notice that I get 3 to 4 bars now compared to 1 to 2 before. There's also that Genius feature under ipod. I guess that is for playlists, but anyways, I don't even think I need that. I'm loving my iphone even more. But I'm sure iphone haters would hate it even more as well, hahahahaha.

HelpME, 14 Sep 2008 Can anyone tell me what is the latest hardware version for... morei have the same issue, and its the only issue i have with the phone, other than that its brilliant. i would imagine there will be a rom update soon. well lets hope so. and lets hope they add the touch response to the keyboard, not essential but would be nice!

Can anyone tell me what is the latest hardware version for Samsung Omnia? I`m having a problem with my Omnia because it`s going black screen after a while and doesnt seems to respond. I can hear and feel the buttons but the screen is all black.. What is it to do? Thank you!

Well i've decided just don't like the omnia. I hate windows mobile and phones 4u will only give me 14 days to return and there are NO phones that I want. I want to switch to the i8510 but I dounno if its coming to vodafone?! They better let me return it and not screw me over cos I need a diiferent device. Omnia just doesn't work for me which sux cos I thought it really would :(

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2008click on the 3g sign and you have the option to disconnect.Thanks, but i mean the sign 3G that is alway s on, meaning that there is a 3G available.
So before connecting to 3G internet. Only when connect to the internet it has an option to disconnect.
I want to shut down the sign 3G before connecting to save batterylife and to prevent that the phone will connect by itself.
