iphone is for the cheap ordinary people who can't afford the omnia..like everyone here in US using iphone..i want a unique phone and i'm glad i have my omnia.
and to all iphonie fanatics go back to ur forum and leave the omnia users..

2 weeks of use and great still very happy wiht it... 2 downs till now, gps not very precise and bug on the alarm, does not repeat... waiting for firmware.

Can i keep this mobile in continuous charging and same time continuous connected with computer via data cable?
Means is there two different slots for charging and connecting with laptop via data cable?

[1] Is youtube video works good on mobile via 3.5G network (service provider)?
[2] Can I connect this mobile to my laptop to browse internet on laptop via 3.5G network?

Vodafone UK say as of Monday their shops will have stock, tariff from £35 but beware this is not the true cost. If you want to use the GPS function (as most will surely) on the Omnia, it will cost you another £4.25 per month. On O2 such service has always been free!

The Netherlands:
I Went to Vodaphone today. The Omnia was not available as their website says and they didn't know when it will be available. An other shop (can't remember their name) was talking about week 35. Finally The Phone house told me it will be official announced in the third week of September.
So we have to wait an other month or so.
I think Samsung has their reasons to postpone the launch. In this way they can fix bugs, they want to avoid problems as the iPhone has now!!! They also have good alternatives, all shops need to be fully supplied, marketing must be right for the specific markets, etc.
Finally: I don't understand why some persons are so impatient, it just a phone!!! There are far more important things in life that a phone. So wait and be happy that you can buy a nice phone as the Omnia. In some countries the costs of this phone is more than their annual earnings.

i am using this phione in the us and it is awesome. blows away the iphone. the only thing i cant figure out is to make the screen go from horizontal to vertical on the internet. it orks fine on the camera. thanks

"i use my canon sd to take pictures" who are you batman?. Most of us have phones good enough or at par with point and shoot cameras, out there. "oh I cant send mms i can email it though" well for some countries with advance network features we use mms in a normal basis coz its so much FASTER. Man just to sum it up an omnia even with a buggy firmware will always be better that your iphone 3g.

It takes probably the best pics of any windows mobile phone out. You have to view the pics on a computer screen to see the quality, because they look a little fuzzy on the phone.

got it!!! waited ages for it didnt like the silver 16 gb have got the 8gb, device of the year so far however i think samsung should have aborted there widget ideas a long time ago they are pointless on a windows mobile device but a part from that
the camera great video record great opera browers great
the stylus looks like a lip gloss (think i will keep that in my pocket lol) 9.5 /10 guys try it

after looking forwad to this phone coming out i went into my local vodafone store to try it out and i wish i hadnt very dissapointing... Poor camera my 2 year old k800i takes lot better pics... Very slow to react and although the screen is 3.2 it is not wide enough music speaker very low very dissapointed... I will hold on till december for nokias real iphone killer.. 8mp xenon flash 3.2 screen and dual stereo speakers
