i already own one, im very happy with it. only a couple of notes, i´m waiting for the firmware update to decrease the slowdowns,but dont get me wrong is still fast, the stylus is nedded if you are more than a regular use, i use a pen when i´m at work. and as a browser i use opera mini 4, it consumes less data as the opera 9 downloads the full page.

I want this phone in white!!
When will the white version be available??
Its a tough call between this and the iphone, i know the iphone is crap but i like the user interface and i like the app store and the internet apart from that i think this samsung is much better..
Can you scroll the whole screen using the finger or do you have to use the slide bar on the right?

Hi all, i also went to cpw today, it is on page 3 of new brochure in the shop! The girl i asked looked on computer was helpful then when she tapped into her computer she changed a bit, sort of shifty, then gave e an excuse that all the stores are changing inside on the last day of August so i was to come in on the 1st september and it should be available????
I think all CPW larger stores have this in stock already but it is embargoed by Samsung until all the marketing is in place hence the leaks and cloak and dagger stuff!
It will be available on Vodafone too which is great for me but again if you look on thair site it is nowhere to be seen! I think if we see august off it will all become clear, i also think that this is gonna be a special piece of kit, think the bugs are all being sorted and software ui being improved for the UK market, then onto the US!

Checked today in Norwich stores, which are not that far from Ipswich (now there's a surprise) and Phones4, CPW and Vodafone, all say not available yet, won't be before the end of this month.

Can some one tell me if you purchase one of these phones from ebay from hongkong where do you get the GPS software from for you country or is it already installed.Or do you have to download it from somewhere Not sure how this works.Please help.

I just bought my Samsung Omnia. Its cool, but in the camera resolution 320X240 is available. I cannot change the resolution. Can anyone help me out??

1. please, can one of the lucky owners tell me if omnia can record movies in vga mode with 30fps or 15 fps or 22 fps? Thanks!
2. i red in different places that the omnia's screen has 262k colors but only 65k effective, wich, afaik, is wm limitation. sound somehow useless to me unless samsung knows something we don't. does somebody found out if the upcoming wm7 will allow more screen colors then the present situation?
3. how about the wired screen resolution? i can't belive a hitech company as samsung can't do better on this respect. for instance, xperia will have 800 x 480. what can be the reason samsung chose this rezolution?

Dont Compare This TO Kids Iphone!! . Omnia is Much Much better better then that ... And Who Guys Waiting .. please wait till 2nd week of sept. it will be avaiable ... so Omnia Rocks !!

i dont think there is any diffence apart from the 3g will work in america on the i908, as its ment to be out on AT&T
