i did order this mobilephone today at vodafone netherlands.
for the first time ill have to wait a few weeks before i get it!
the phone is brand new,so thats why i have too wait.
this phone is even better than the famuos i-phone.
please compare them and you will see for youselve.

The first firmware update for the samsung i900 Omnia is ready. Samsung has made the first ROM update for the i900 Omnia Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone available. Aside from several bug fixes, the self-service update includes new functionalities.

One thing I'd like to mention...ALL the Omnia's up for sale right now...only have 3G network for HSDPA 2100 (Europe/Asia). America runs on HSDPA 850/1900, and none of the retailers i've looked online so far, seem to offer an Omnia with 3G for America compatible. This sux! =(

does any1 know if Omnia has limited letters up to 160 letters/page which found very common on most (not all) samsung mobile phone???
very annoying to actually type a long message n need to "create new message" all the time because 1 page limited to 160 letters!!!

Its will be available on Vodafone just had a demonstration of the phone looks amazing, They guys from Samsung did say it was not going to be on O2.

Vodafone have confirmed on there eforum that they will be releasing the omnia apon the uk public on the 24th of august! Finally some light at the end of the tunnel, woo hoo

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Children children, it DOES have a qwerty keyboard but not in a phisical sence it only comes into play as a touch screen function! and as far as it having a keypad on it open your eyes and have a wee peek, can you see keys anywhere on this phone? i thing not, lol

hi guys, i have just got the phone and it is quiet good. However, have a query, dont really know if anyone can help. With the google maps, the entire map has been downloaded (i live in dubai), however when i search for any place which also shows on the map, it says no results found. Can anyone pls help?
