Check out PhoneSource-USA, $692 sounds pretty goood right? As always, things that sound too good to be true are not. I was so close to purchasing this phone but luckily I decided to do some research on this site before purchasing. One of the MANY sites that i found states that the site is not legit. Check out this site for example: http://www.resellerratings.com/forum/merchant-discussion-shopping-advice/123938-phonesource-usa-com-respectable-site.html

Victoria, 30 Jul 2008Samsung should have organizer as a standart, don't know abo... moreDear Victoria and all others,
Regarding anti virus prg.:
I got an answer from "my anti virus provider" Eset/NOD32. They say that you can take it in consideration to purchase an anti virus prg. when you are surfing (downloading) a lot on the Internet. But when you sychronise mostly with your PC which contains an anti virus prg. then it is not really necessary. So apparently it is dependent on your use of the Internet. Eset has a Beta version available. From my personal experiences I know that Eset has a very high qualified and fast anti virus prg. called NOD32. So I am quid confidence that the mobile version will also be good. Here is their link:
http://www.eset.com/emabeta/
Keep in mind that this is still a beta version.
On PocketGear you can also find anti virus prg's., but I do not know nothing about the quality of these prg's. I have much more confidence in Eset. (NO this is NO commercial from me!!!) Still a link to PocketGear:

it has dual camera.
but dunno bout powering a usb external Hd.
that would be nice, then you could keep all your movies and media files on it and use to tv out for something. you could also do a desktop remote on the phone and access your computers files and play them through phone or tv out or audio out. but i wouldn't imagine that tv out output for a movie is gonna be amazing.

Can you hook up external usb hardrive to it, and will it be able to power the external usb hardrive?
Also does it have two cameras? one for video conference and one for taking pictures? if not this phone is waste of money.

i900 Unique Woes:
1. can't read in daylight (full), too bright at night (zero setting)
2. hangs & lock up easily, when loaded with apps
3. screen sensitivity drops and shut down easily, when apps-loaded
4. Samsung UtouchWiz UI not useful/practical.
5. photo is good, but video is bad
6. poor GPS fix (5-10 mins), even with A-GPS
7. proprietary tilt-sensor API, does not work with many 3rd-party sensor apps
8. WM6.1 & Samsung built-in ROM programs, conflicts with many apps, rendering useless.
9. DivX play still do not play many formats or no audio, use Coreplayer.
10. TV-out cannot view fullscreen on TV
i900 Unique Pros:
1. 16GB USB
2. Camera UI, and stills
3. 1-touch Torchlight
4. Good FM Radio recording
gave up Omnia after 3 weeks, for issues 1-3, after exploring all remedies. Cannot function as a stable phone, using as an apps-rich device.
For Simple Users, great phone!
For Heavy Phoners/SMSers, get HTC Pro/Xperia
For Apps-Explorers, go for HTC
For Movie-makers, still N95
For Flaunters, it's iPhone

Dutch Vodafone website is announcing the Omnia for week 34..
However, their telephone-guy told me it should be the 6th of august (which is, obviously, not week 34, but next week already:D)! Can anyone tell me the 'real' date?
