They are SELLING the 8gb version on Ebay now for about 700.
Im still going to wait for it to hit the UK. Hopefully the prices will be down by then.

this is all most the perfect phone, with the speed of the iphone 3g. and the customization of the lg viewty, it would be the perfect phone.

Can you wear gloves and use the touch screen? On the iphone you can't so its good to know if you can on the i900, so I don't need to take off my gloves on a cold winter's day just to use it. Can someone please test and report back here? Many thanks!

One store at pacific mall has it early for 1100.00 canadian,other cell stores there say it will be available in a week for 900.00, yet another store said 800.00.
I'll wait for the price to drop fromm 800.00!

Why doesnt samsung listen to its customers?? where is the VGA Screen? i know that they say that its all in the name of saving battery power but some of the new reviews thta have come out of the phone states that battery consumtion has increased and with heavy intensive use, you'd have atleast 40% everyday. 40% which couldve have been used towards the screen, this phone could have been an iphone killer but samsung have allienated atleast half of their customers due to the poor quality screen!

PLEASE HELP! Can anyone who's already using the phone tell me if you can take a photo of yourself using the front camera (the secondary vga camera), where the screen will serve as your 'mirror'? And does it allow for keying Chinese characters?
Plus, how easy is it to type a SMS? And does the silver paint around the screen peel? How's the picture and video quality?

quick question how loud is the speaker cuzz samsung has rally bad speaker as i know so far, i really like this phone and wanted to get it but afraid it might just be the same as all samsung, speaker sux..........

went to get it one hour ago.
it's a beauty!
i've been playing with it since i came out of the MediaWorld store in Milan.
feels great to hold in hand, typing is a breeze with the horizontal oriented keypad.
i suppose i'll kiss my beloved and faithful HTC TyTN goodbye as soon as i get eveything running in my new Omnia.
can't wait to install all software, i'll try TT-7 first, because it doesn't have a navi programme installed. let's see how it goes.
