Hey, this is the phone that one needs to buy for themselves when you got the bonus. The phone is bigger, and you don,t need to carry a heavy laptop around or so, simply: this phone made the world an extra smaller technological village. Proper phone, excellent craftman. Thumbs up for Omnia.

i coome again after i had red some opinion about the phone,SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO now i know you JIN,you are an expert of using with this phone,so could you tell me why everyone alway encountered any problem with this phone and how could i resolve them.OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...................and could you tell why you decided to buy Omnia too.One more Don't you think that s8000jet could run window OS because it has 800MhzCPU with 256 RAM and ROM which all of them could be support window OS and Application>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

how do i move files rather than the copy and paste method? I'm only seeing the option to copy and paste and when i do that I end up having the same file in two places. Then having to delete the unwanted one. Is there a way I can simply move files when I'm organising my folders?

Hi it's me again,first of all i wanna say Thank you for your help & support,Omnia is really something and i won't forget my good days with Omnia,it's 95% great for me,as for the 5%..well that 95% part should cover up minor flaws,then again the "perfect" word heavily depend on personal point of view.
But it's already my time for me to change my adventure in the smartphone's world & exploring a whole new things out there.
To all Omnia Experts (jin,Shadrach,Ember,and many more people) :
Thank You very much for your support ans experience sharing,you've been very helpful,it's nice to know you guys.
To people who'll be using Omnia (but still hesitate somehow) :
Just go for it,it's a great smartphone as long as you know how to use it properly.
I do hope to see any of you guys again someday in my new Smartphone's world (iPhone 3Gs).

jzjzjz, 10 Oct 2009i also use a jelly case. it does a good job at protecting t... morei have screen protector also, but with the jelly case only, the lcd with the screen protector would get unwanted scratches once you put it in your bag or pocket, so you will have to replace the screen guard often, but with the leather case that i had before, the lcd is covered, thus the screen guard is protected from unwanted scratches
anyway, i still have the jelly case on, and the omnia looks nicer.
regarding your problem with your omnia, you can have it checked at the samsung service center in greenhills, i'm sure they can help you

ember, 09 Oct 2009don't worry jin, omnia will get its upgrade soon, it will ... morei also use a jelly case. it does a good job at protecting the chrome plating of my omnia, far better that leather cases does. i have also opted to put a screen guard on it, a mirror finnish screen guard. it really compliments the chrome finnish on the side of the omnia. (the only problem is that finger prints and smudges are usually visible)

hey guys! shout out to my fellow pinoys out there.
can any of you guys help me? i have a problem with my omnia.. somehow i cant connect to the internet through wifi.. it started when i did a hard reset to my device. the day before that, everything was working fine, i was even surfing the net the night before. that lead me to believe that it is just a software/configuration problem..
how about you guys? can you give me some inputs on this? where should i send my omnia for repair if ever? (pls note that this was bought in london and sending it back to the shop where it was bought is not an option.)
another problem i have encountered with my omnia is that it says that a memory drive is already full.. i mean, i will load it with about 1gig of files.. sometime later on, i will check the memory status of my device and it will tell me that no more files can be added. the only solution i have found was to delete some of the files.. and yes, it gets annoying as time goes on. help plx.

by the way, i was able to buy a jelly casing for my omnia. i got it from robinsons galleria
it looks nicer now, but the only downside is, the lcd screen is open for more scratches unlike the leather casing which gives extra protection to the lcd. i'll use the jelly case anyway but i will be extra careful in protecting my lcd.

hey guys ive been to megamall and i found out that in the samsung booth they have launch the omniaII and the omnia PRO in the ground floor main entrance of building A and i approach their event coordinator if i can update my 6.1 omnia i900 and she told me its not included in the upgradable phones here in PH so i assume only the latest omnia can have the latest updates from6.1 to 6.5........so sad

this is built in memory and my vedio and images {which r directly taken by this phone} goes in that memory {16gb} but when some one transfer any song or muvee to me via bluetooth,that goes in my storage which is only 97MB ,so plz help me to use my 16GB memory
