tnx shadrach! just installed core player in my phone and i must admit... it's a damn good player. using it for youtube and in landscape-mode rocks! i think it's better than the basic player omnia has.

Japanese edition (930SC)
In Japan, SoftBank Mobile announced that the Samsung Omnia will be sold as 930SC in November 2008. However, it adopted the proprietary operating system instead of Windows Mobile. It has a 3.3-inch Wide VGA LCD and 1seg tuner, but GPS has been excluded. It is also available for SoftBank Mobile's own mobile Internet service.

hey guyz..need help...
my father bought a omnia from saudi arab.. in da 4n half of the icons are in english and some of them are in arabic..bt idont knw arabic so how can i change it to all english...phone is not totally arabic but half of things r in arabic..

I just found this in samsung omnia.org >>> google released a new youtube client which works phantastically on samsung omnia. download cab file directly with your omnia using this link: http://m.google.com/youtube/download?hl=en (downloads with desktop browser did not work). after installation of cab file you find program link in startmenu folder (programs). is much better than playing youtube via opera / streaming player. >>> i've tried it and it worked,any of omnia users interested in this?

If you use ActiveSync, then click on "Explore" it wilkl show the folder structure. Drill down through the "My Windows Mobile-Based Device", then to "My Storage". You can create a folder there that says "Installers". Copy your files there and it'll be much easier to find.

If you downloaded .cab files then copy the .cab file from your PC to your phone and then open the .cab file from your phone and follow instructions.
