The ram is mainly utilized by the various background processes that run in background.
Due to processes that run in background lags and battery gets decreased...To solve this problem go to...
Settings 》 developer options 》scroll down to the bottom 》 limit background process 》 select "No background process"
this fix will solve the issues regarding poor ram, screen lagging and poor battery performance..

Jelly bean is not for galaxy s advance, its not complete. Everthing is slow except the user interface. The games like temple run, angry birds were running smoothly on gingerbread, but now it hangs on jelly bean. Samsung do somethong, we dont expect such incomplete updates.
Its really bad.
And those who are saying to reset the phone before and after uptading to jelly bean. Let me tell you I have done that more than 10 times.
I can go back to gingerbread using odin, but this is not done. Samsung must do something in this regard, its their responsibility.

When I connect my sgs advance to samsung kies, it shows that there is a firmware update available.
I update my sgs advance through kies, it then downloding. After finish downloading it then freezing. Nothing happens in my sgs advance.
I have disconnect everything from the other usb port including my mouse, so I move my pointer from keyboard.
Any solution?
I tried to update OTA, but it said there is mo update.
I am in Hydetabad. Is there a place to upgrade. please give me the addres. How much it is?

After updating phone to jb reset you phone
From settings you will find
The phone will lag but root users can uninstall unwanted apps etc etc

Turn off the device or just reboot into recovery mode.
You can enter the recovery mode by pressing on Volume Up,Home and Power buttons together.
From the recovery mode wipe the system.
For the wipe select “wipe data factory reset” and “wipe cache partition”.
Select “+++go back+++” and “reboot system now”.
Done.
Please take back up before doing this. It will make your phone to factory reset and Done.

after updating ma sgsa to jb it works very slow as compared to gingerbreed n sometimes it hangs so worse that nothing works in dat case... I have to put ma battery off from d phone to use it again... n also battery life had been as compared to gb update..
plz tell me dat how can I use ma phone smoothly?????

recently upgraded to jelly bean n its worthy
Some cool features of jb are direct call n pop up play
N most of all enhanced battery life
And for all Indians, you can upgrade ur set to jb.
