The most important aspect to me is battery life. If Lumia 820 has a good battery life or even better than Galaxy S Advance as you say, i am ready to choose windows phone 8 to the detriment of android.

Screen- Super AMOLED (Great viewing angles.Deepest/darkest blacks. Vivid display but suffers slight pixelation).
Battery- Good. Can run a whole day under moderate usage.
Camera- 5MP with HD recording.
Xperia J
Screen- LCD TFT[NO BRAVIA ENGINE(In GSM arena's specs,Bravia engine is listed as present but it's a mistake. Just read the display review)].
Good display. Bad viewing angles
But, the main disadvantage is it doesn't even support HD 720p videos. So, even if the screen is good, u can't experience it completely.
Battery- Good.(Slightly better than S Advance).
Camera- 5MP. No HD video recording. One more thing, Xperia J is worst even for casual gaming.
So, There is no confusion. Go for S Advance.
But, if u want just display, battery & Cam, try lumia mobiles.
They r better than these two.(If no bluetooth & no SD card slot option is okay for u.)

This is really a great phone, I am posting this review from the same device, that too with the awesome Swype keyboard. The best thing that ever happened to this device was the jelly bean update, I am loving project butter. Other smart phones in this range are not worth it, they might look more beautiful from the distance, but they lack performance. This has a dual core CPU paired with 768 MB of RAM. Everything is smooth, people saying this phone lags are noobs. DDULP firmware works great. Xperia J is really slow compared to this phone as it has A5 CPU while toys has A9.

When is those of us in Africa getting our share of Jellybean? And if we finally get it,can i upgrade just by using the phone's software updater? or i can only do it by kies?

Hi guys. Pls help me! Planning to buy this phone in a couple of days but kinda get confused after reading ur opinions about the OS. So pls tell me guys if I buy that phone should I remain with GB or upgrade it to JB?? Is it worth it to upgrade it? Some of u said GB is better but others said JB is quite good and I'm confused right now so which one is better? Do reply to this. Tq!

For all those who experience network problems with s advance please set your Network Selection Mode to GSM Only then you'll not face any network problem again..

I've recently purchased this cell but I've some issue. The internet automatically goes deactivate. Please help me to resolve this. Is this because I keep on clearing RAM. ??? I've not yet upgraded to jelly bean. Please help as it's irritating now!!

Works fine with GB.If you want an update do it officially and by cable.Now about phone,wonder where the RAMs are going if Samsung says 555mb are available and fresh restarted takes 200 to run,so 555 to 768?Strange...Now 8gb where?Since i can only use 1,9?Oddd...With little atention this phone could have been great,but Samsung always does some things halfway apart on flagships:automatic brightness varies so much at a point indoor looks washed but on the sun still lack something,nice curve design but cheap pattern batery cover.Reliable batery,nice camera,good sound.

It has been 3 months since i updated my s advance's firmware to jellybean. At first, i was so unsatisfied. Lots of lags, especially when watching videos. But after doing a reset and clearing cache, everything went smooth! I just love how smooth it is, although there are rare times that it hangs. But it's worth it.

jellybean update is not proper . my cell is lagging a lot evn though i have installed not more than 4-5 apps.....it totally stops ur phone, no touch sensitivity also loading problm.....bt cell is best wid its 2.3.6 update...
