AnonD-3364, 03 May 2013Hi guys. I'm in India and have upgraded to JB. The interfac... moreI think issues u r getting are because of less RAM in this phone. so try these steps and do let me know if it works:
1) Clear the RAM in task manager for closing the background applications/process..
2) Load game(Temple Run 2/Oz or Subway Surfer).
3) Play upto 100 meter approximately.
4) If the game is lagging then properly unload(exit) the game and re-run the game.
5) Now check if the game is still lagging. If yes then repeat step 2 to step 4, 2-3 times(clear the memory first time only, not every time).
6) Now the game should work...
PS: 1) I used to follow these steps on my SGSA with stock GingerBread whenever these games are lagging and believe me after trying these steps the games are running butter smooth.
2) Step 3 is less required and I use the same just for checking if the game is working.
3) Try to stop the background processes which are not starting automatically to get more amount of free RAM.

I have upgraded OS to JB ......itss sucksss.....jelly bean almost eat 80 % of RAM ......so i advised to stay with your Ginger bread its work fine on that ..

M using dis handset for 6mnths...
Display and camera is quite awesome as compared to S2 (8MP camera). But camera lacks zoom. Also RAM low as android sucks too much RAM....
Windows MS 520/720 is a good option in this price range...

jb update sucks cannot multitask cannot play hd games
lags a lot it even hangs for a while
please don't update your phone to jb

But I will always advice anyone to buy s2 if they have few more bucks. Well if u can't extend ur budget s advance is a great option. I have been using this mobile for 7 months, never faced any problem. Well, coming to JB update, it's good. it's not laggy. U can go for it. But if u want, u can stay on GB. That's your choice. either way, u will be satisfied

AnonD-107863, 04 May 2013Go for htc desire x, same price more features No Bro, HTC desire X may be dual core but it is equipped with ARM Cortex A5 core. it delivers a poor performance when compared to cortex A9 core of s advance. its ADRENO 203 GPU is also not that much powerful when compared to MALI 400 of S ADVANCE. Their specs may look alike but there will be a difference in their performance. it is evident in the fact that desire x cannot handle HD 720p videos.
