hi friends...i want to update my gb to jb.
my question is,
do i lose all my contacts.music,saved games after updating to jb?
if yes,what is the way to prevent that before going for update?
can anyone please suggest how to backup data?

Last night got my S Advance updated with JB 4.1.2
Can anybody tell are there "multiwindow" and "smartstay" available with JB 4.1.2 for S Advance?

[deleted post]Yes it can be in 3 ways:
Through Kies update. It happened for me automatically.
Else go through the service station
Finally on many website you do find how to chg firmware though not recommended by me

Hi,
I was able to officially update my phone through Kies to JB 4.1.2
3 qts of mine:
Why did it not update to the latest JB 4.2.2
My ringtone sound has become soft. Unable to hear notification tone. How can the same be rectified?
Officially the phone had Polaris Office Editor suddenly post update I am only able to view the docs and unable to edit the same.

Updated the jb... its aweome. Phn is running butter smooth. Awesome look. Its look like that i have a new phn. Battery back hasnt reduced, no lags with temple run and subway surfer.. only thing i have noticed that notification sound, music player sound and video player sound has become lower compare to gingerband

Jb is little bit slow... s2 jb is owesum but s advance jb is slow as campare s2
