Hey samsung is never going to give update to galaxy s advance. They are simply cheating users. samsung is just busy giving android 4.1 jelly bean update to their flagship models . But you must understand the fact that sony has given this update even to their budget model xperia tipo.this all happens because they don want to. I suggest you buy sony smartphones because they cares users much more than samsung does.

hi, i am using this handset from last 3 three months but i am not happy with this handset, everytime mobile network get disconnect. I have also consulted Service Centre but problem not get resolved.
so this is not a good handset.......

Hi if u want to stop hanging and laging of u r phone then just try these root scripts and kernel then see what a improvement
1) flash siri rc4 kernel from xda(Google it)
2) flash 4cyl turbo 200 shot nos inj from xda(Google it)
3) flash crossbreeder from xda(Google it)
Its not important that on which firmware u i am on xxply
Its a challenge that u r phone will be on the fly after this

there is no option for zooming in default camera...so have to download camera zoom fx for zooming....

use volume up & down keys to zoom the camera and to make ringing phone to silent mode

Anyways..I have a weird observation..my phone is more responsive when kept on charging, the AppDrawer scrolling, animation and games play without a lag. But it's not the case, when the phone is in Standby mode.
Has any body experienced this ever ???
