it wud have been gb itself(some 2.3.x)
it like u saying, windows xp and windows 7 are same, just 0.1% improvement..
did u even try jb.. do u even know how to use it.. ?? even i loved gb, but its too old now..
nd we deserve atleast 1 os update..

A... moreyup at the time of release gb was a good choice, its v stable..
but tht doesnt mean tht they do not provide software support for the phone.. its a 2012 phone, so obviously if not jb they shud have released ics for it... not everybody can keep changing their phone wen new os is released..
and abt update not being proper, i dont think samsung developers and testers are so good, bcoz sony and htc and other companies give out os updates wid v few bugs, y cant samsung do tht.. obviously we ll have problem with the os , if there r bugs.. u got to b able to use it comfortably.. they can release the update wenever they want, bcoz i know its lot of work to tune the os.. but wen they give out dates, we all expect them to keep up with it..

AnonD-67191, 19 Feb 2013I am pretty sure that my user ram will go down after updati... moredoesnt matter how much ram is left.. u can check on xda forum, they have already mentioned tht having just 100mb or less free ram, doesnt slow down ur system.. its ur cpu usage, nd stuff like tht.. even limit the no of processes, to get more available ram... nd u can always do gpu rendering.. but it will cost u ur battery backup... 1gb wud have been ideal, but 768 mb can work fine too, is wat i m saying..

After the update if any problems are there, everyone cries like a baby and woes Samsung.
What is their mistake? Af tje time of S Advance GB was a good choice.
If there are update problems then write to Samsung not GSMArena.
It is just a resource site not a complaint register that u put complaints against anything.

Aftrr updating when there are problems, everyone cries like a baby and woes Samsung for it.

And theres not just 0.1% difference dont make a fool of urself buddy. If you use google now and see the output of project butter in jellybean ull throw away ur gingerbread. Visit wikipedia for a comparison between the 2 OS. Den ull know y ppl r waiting and r angry wid samsung.
And as OS get older they again start getting buggy. Always good to be in the latest or best to be in the second last OS.
If u still love ur gingerbread then ur juss using ur fone like those nokia devices which r mainly for calling n smsing dats it.
Dont mind buddy its an explaination not an insult :)

I am pretty sure that my user ram will go down after updating to jb as it have consideringly low ram user available in 768 mb ram size
for jellybean I think 1gb of ram is average performance.....
I will better sell it and purchase a onboard jb phone of today's generation with 1 gb RAM atleast.....

samsung people lost their calendar i guess.. bloody fools, releasing update for s advance on feb 18th, it seems.. do u follow some other calendar in which feb 18 is a totally different date??? even for ukraine, all other devices r getting the update.. screw u samsung.. first of all, ur jb update is totally screwed up and u cant even deliver... oh i hope ur devices get banned all over the world..

kingpin, 18 Feb 2013I dont know why u guyz ar so crazy about Jelly Bean.Whats s... moreyo kingpin i think ur crazy dude its not a 0.1 percent upgrade.....its more like a 30 percent upgrade...i used odin and am using the russian format which is xxlpy and when i run a bench mark test its far more faster compared to the phone in gb .....trust me change to jb or u will regret it..... jb has like 20 times more functions compared to gb and it makes the phone way smoother
