I... moregalaxy s advance is not as fast as the iphone5. if you want a customized sms inbox and email inbox you can download your required app from the play store. it dosent have any small blinking led light for sms or missed call alerts. for voice commands there are several apps in the play store. you can watch videos of some apps right in the play store to find your desired app. for voice commands i would recommend a phone with jelly bean as it's voice recognition is much faster than any other os includind siri...galaxy s advance is better than other phones in terms of following..
1, it dosent heat up like other samsung phones.
2, it is very stable and runs every app without any issue.
cons:
:: no jelly bean as yet with is the best os so far.
:: 16 gb version costs same as the s2 which has more ram, better gpu and camera. but s2 has heating and stability issues.

5) I have tried all the voice assistants but they suck...wait for jellybean and this problem will be solved
This phone is the best according to me in 15-20k range. But samsung sucks as they are the slowest in rolling out the updates. If you want a true google experience...only buy the nexus series....Nexus 4 by LG will release by the end of Nov. and it costs 27k (for 16GB)

I recently bought a iphone 5 in india with bill and warranty and i think it sucks . I am now giving it to my wife and would like to get a android based phone .
I saw the samsung galaxy advance and like it quite a bit . i have a few questions and would be greatful if you could help me out .

3) can i make folders for sms , like drafts , important , jokes , work etc .. and transfer the messages to the said folders as per my wish .
4) can i also make folders for my e-mails as like for my messages , i use hotmail.com .
5) can i get voice assistance to set alarm , search the web , type messages eetc , like " siri " does on the iphone .

I contacted samsung india...they said they have no official hearing about jelly bean for sgsa.
The phone is perfect for its range.
Never lags....best screen...but waiting for jelly bean.

I have been using this phone for few weeks now.. it is really good phone. I have found only one issue, after you made a call, network won't be available for next 10-15 sec, this will create an issue if you wanted to call same person / another person imediatily.

I've done the same and usb working fine :)
