Want some clarifications about XU

1.Doubt abt the memory space available in Xperia U.. Is 4GB enough for having 300 songs.. and am having habit of taking pictures and videos.. Is that memory enough for doing all those things...?

2.If i upgrade OS Will it affect more space..

3.Am not gamer But i'll download some of the small application around 40MB.. Is memory enough..?

4.Why should upgrade OS..? How to upgrade OS..?

5.About Samsung: V2.0 OS is not disadvantage ah..? Is that enough..?


When considering these two things..I thnk XU is better.. Wht u thnk..?

Its a 7" tablet with a Dual Core 1 Ghz processor and sports both a 3.15 MP Primary Camera and a VGA secondary camera and it can also record 720p videos and must mention that the camera quality is quite good even for a 3.15 MP camera (I have used it).
And for a price of 19500 its very very good.
And the best part is that you can make calls, sms, video calls etc coz it supports SIM (2G and 3G both) functionality (I know you must be knowing about it but thought to mention it) and it comes with Android 4.0 ICS out of the box.
So you can also go for it if you want a phone cum tablet.

It feels somewhat cheap and the 4 buttons on the front are also wobbly and i must mention that its a FINGERPRINT MAGNET. I have used it and it always catches fingerprints everywhere, from the display till the back panel, and even if you use the phone, its not that smooth as well but it looks cool else its nothing to be excited about and even doesnt have zooming.

And also forget the Miro coz it isn't that powerful, it just has a 800 Mhz Chipset and an old Adreno 200 GPU, so leave this one behind too.

And even the One V comes out of the competition coz it only sports a Single Core 1 Ghz Processor and the Adreno 205 GPU, and both of these things are quite slow compared to the other phones in the competition.

Now goes the main competition between the S Advance, Xperia U and lets add 2 more Sony Xperia Sola and LG Optimus 2X.

All in all the S Advance, Xperia U and Sola sport the same specs except for the screen size (S Advance is the biggest of them all) and the same very much powerful GPU, the Mali-400 MP which gives them one hand up but the LG Optimus 2X sports an 8 MP shooter with 1080p video recording and has Corning Gorilla Glass and has always taken an upper hand in almost every benchmark so you can either go for this one or the other three.

But still I would suggest either the 2X or the S Advance (but no zooming in camera) coz of their screen size as well as their performance, battery life, sound quality and camera quality. But one more thing that till now the S Advance is awaiting an update to 4.0 ICS whereas the 2X is upgradable.

this phone is amazing, worth every peny, i prefer this phone instead of the s2 because it has an amazing design. The s2 is to big for me and are small diferences between phones in terms of perfomance, i can watch full hd tv serials online, i instaled an played gta3, asphalt 7, temple run, six guns,backstab, max payne, modern combat 3, spider man total,shadowgun and didn`t haved any lag at all, i was amaized how smooth they work on this device, the camera is good and when this phone will recive a Ice Cream Sandwich update it will be gold for me.

I m losing my internet connection once my screen gets time out.. Do we have any kind of fix for this.. Its highly irritating wen the internet connection gets down for every 30 seconds if mobile is idle..

I am losing my Internet connection frequently.. I m using packet data internet connection.. I kept my screen time out time as 30 sec and after few secs, mobile will be automatically locked.. And after i unlock i c the balance pop up wnd.. I mean getting Data Session Balance and the usage.. Wen i click ok, i see my Internet session is lost.. I m frequently losing my internet connection once the screen gets time out.. Does anyone Face this problem.. Does anyone have idea about how to overcome this problem..

Am going to get after a month.. Please suggest me which is best.. Consider Camera clarity, Flash Option, Zooming option,Secondary Camera, Downloading Speed, Net surfing Speed, Touch sense, scratch resistant glass, Memory capacity, Battery back up, Preferable screen size, Handling, Best OS,Screen Clarity and Very Important Geth look ie., Cute.

Note: It should not make any serious problem..

AnonD-67744, 21 Aug 2012Can you suggest which is better? a) Xperia go b) Xperia S... moreAll three phones have somewhat the same specs, like the same Chipset, GPU, CPU and also a 5 MP shooter.
But the main differences are the screen size and in some places the screen quality and also the secondary camera.

The S Advance has a 4.0" Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 233 ppi which which is good and it also sports a 1.3 MP front-facing camera which comes in handy for video calls, etc.

The Xperia Sola has a 3.7" LED Backlit LCD/TFT screen with a pixel density of 265 ppi which is also good but it does not a front camera (that's sad for few).

And now comes the Xperia Go, a smartphone which is sturdy as its water and dust proof (now that's something which all smartphones should sport). Its a bit low on screen as it has a 3.5" LED Backlit LCD/TFT with a very low pixel density of 165 ppi (now that's really low) and it also does not sport a front camera.

So all in all, the three phones are quite good when it comes to specs with a few drawbacks in each, but that won't bother many.
And yes the S Advance has a better battery life than the other two but must say that they are also good competitors, so now its upto you which one you'll choose.

You must wait for the upgrade to 4.0.

jidh, 22 Aug 2012Guys can you please tell me about the display quality.I hav... moreIts a good screen though, but it wold have been better had it been a SUPER AMOLED PLUS/HD screen but i would still say its pretty good and sunlight legibility is also good.
And now going on to the Ace 2, its a bit low in terms of specs when comparing with the S Advance.

1. Ace 2 has a lil bit smaller screen.
2. Low on storage compared to the S Advance.
3. VGA front camera.
4. A bit slower processor (comparing with the S Advance).

So all these small drawbacks push the Ace 2 a few steps back from the S Advance.
