Bought this phone on 26 may. So far it gave me no problems whatsoever, no freezing, no self rebooting, excesive heating etc. Hope it keeps up the good work.

Bought this phone on 26 may.Never had any freezing,self rebooting problem,heating or any issues whatsoever. Hope it keeps up the good work

Awesome phone. Nice build quality. Dropped it once on concrete still no scratches. Sound quality is amazing. Touchwiz UI is very user friendly. Phone has a sexy curved design. Processing power is amazing. All HD games run smoothly. It beats Galaxy Nexus in Quadrant. Super amoled screen is just awesome, very vibrant, no strain to eyes, vivid colours, visible in even direct sunlight. LED Flash is very useful for taking pics in low light and it can also be used as a flashlight. Phone has a nice feel. Its fingerprint resistant. Matted back cover adds more elegance to the design.

In my opinion, ICS upgrade isnt only dependent if the specs of your phone can run ICS, if the specs is the only basis, then ace 2 and s advance will surely get it, but have you heard of the term "marketing strategy"?, I think samsung is not giving s advance and ace 2 ICS, so that they can market the next batches of mid range phones that have built in ICS. I Think Samsung really feels they are king now(they really are) so the Sony Xperia's sure ICS update dont scare them much. This is just my opinion. have a nice day.

I have posted the following on other forums to give a heads up to people who consider buying i9070.
I bought one on June 1 in Hong Kong and the phone has stopped responding once or twice a day ever since. Took it to the service centre on June 8 and Samsung replaced the mainboard and the display but the symptom persisted. A complaint letter was sent to Samsung Hong Kong but they have not responded to me up to the time of this writing despite the many follow up calls to their customer service hotline. Further searches on the web suggested that I am not the only one who has this problem.
The phone went down twice yesterday and I had a chance to investigate what could be happening using DDMS in the Android SDK. While the phone appeared to be switched off and not responding to any button being pressed, all the processes were actually running. From logcat, I could see messages regarding the light sensor, accelerometer and buttons pressed. The only way to get the phone working again is by pulling the battery and it will run flawlessly until the next hang up.
Until now, there is no next step from Samsung Hong Kong.

Hii friends..i have been using the s advance for a week now.. And this phone is awsumm.. It has everythin u want from a mid range phone..n may be more... Love the design...love the screen...its brilliant for watching movies..and with 16gb on board..u dont need to worry abt space at all..
Agreed the camera does not have zoom..bt u can always edit and zoom later.. The flash is brilliant..evn without ne sort of lit..u can get a good quality picture..Battery life is also quit good..
And i feel eventually it will get ics..even if a bit late..
Till den m happy wid gingerbread.. Its a quite stable os..sumthin which ics still isnt..
All i wud say..go for it without ne second thots..
Although bad timin by samsung..with s3 out der its not gettin d recognition it shud...
