First samSUNg.com Netherlands is displaying this @ 8.49mm the NON NFC size.
BUT..there is this,

Just based on geography I don't see how some European coUNtrieS can get it and others can't, with the "open borders"
The articles does not give a difinitive yes or no but with the reversal in UK, nothing appears set in stone.

The much awaited Samsung Galaxy S II has finally got a launch date in India. According to Samsung India, the phone will be on sale starting June 9. However, thanks to a special deal with Vodafone India, their customers will be able to get their hands on the Galaxy S II from June 3.

Everything is ok except display res.... Samsung can built higher res...display like iphone4 640*960 or more higher ,
They're make 4.3 inch Display, but res...ony 480*800 not good.

Arnold, 26 May 2011Debating between this gadget and the HTC Sensation, i find ... moreWell every HTC device ive owned has bad microfones especially in video recording,,poor cameras,,jumpy video recording and awful thin tinny speakers.
Now the above are important to me so another HTC smartfone is out of the question till they change their components.

dont trust those specfic in that site they never show the rite info look at the network tab they given hspa+21mbs (up) and 5.4mbs (dw) actually its hspa+21mbs (dw) and 5.4mbs (up..... they do all this silly mistakes and its not the first time they doing this....

perhaps the reason why they enlarge its thickness because on the gsmarena review main disadvantages is "super slim body". now the 11.5mm has better gripping when taking pics, etc. than the 8.5mm.

Apart from thickness difference of 11.5 mm, even width and height are different. More thickness and less width & height. I guess Indian version is different. I pre ordered on letsbuy.com. They said first week June, now Second week. Dont know the price of 32830 with free case, screen guard, car charger and HD cable is high or what. But I would prefer non-NFC version, to maintain 8.5 mm thickness, which they say SGS2 's main physical attribute. Other specs are just dream come true. It has all features, no competition at all. Only benefit in my current e72 is qwerty typing...

Hello,
Can anyone tell me if all of these Class 2, 2 MB/s Class 4, 4 MB/s Class 6, 6 MB/s Class 10, 10 MB/s 32GB micro SD cards will work as extra memory in the SGSII and will there be any advantage in using the say Class 2 compared to the Class 10 card?

its a great phone best that i ever had til now
when i put it next to my iphone 4! damn what a different and so light !
but one thing,when i surf the web the phone get's a bit warm from the back. sorry for my bad english

there is some mistake in their website
click on the features tab it shows 8.49mm thickness but in specs tab its showing 11.5mm
i think it would be 8.49mm despite nfc cos weight is same 116gm in both the tabs, so if a chip increases the width, it must increase the weight also
so i think its 8.49mm only
