There comes a point where even a designer isn't required as you reached the optimal point! Just one example. Not convinced, no patents filed in this example but copied extensively. Mother nature, Its got a heart, I want a heart, Its got lungs etc. genes to copy these traits evolution. Different species same basic equipment. This has been answered more eloquently in earlier post. Screen icons are similar as to be recognisable. If sammy cannot come up with anything 'new' against my better judgement I will be acquiring this status quo device. There is something about this phone we see more than we see in other models.

powervr sgx540 gpu, hummingbird chipset in galaxy s i9000 and mali gpu 400 in galaxy s 2 so do u thnk mali gpu is good then sgx540....sgx 540 succeed gup in gsi9000...

You speak as if Apple is suing for the first time.
1. Apple has sued HTC (Taiwanese company) for infringing 20 iPhone patents
2. Apple sued Psystar for copyright infringement - Won
3. Apple sued Microsoft and HP for gui - Lost
4. Apple sued Meizu (Chinese company)
Apple sues whoever it thinks is infringing on its intellectual property rights, as well as if they think they have a good case. Suing chinese clone makers is problematic because Chinese intellectual property laws make it difficult to win cases.
Also, please note that just as much as Apple sues others, many also sue Apple, so its no big deal.
Lastly, please note that Android itself also is involved both in suing and being sued.
1. Google sued Eric Specht to use the Android name (can you believe that?)
2. Google sued the friggin US Govt for considering only Microsoft in improving messaging functionality.
3. Microsoft is suing Android as it believes it has patents that can allow it to get fees.
4. Oracle sued Android (Google) for Java related patents.
Lessons?
1. Its a lawsuit minefield out there, companies suing companies is no big deal, just business as usual.
2. I have no law knowledge, but came up with the above in just 2 minutes of Google - just a simple search can do wonders in backing up your comments with facts. Please utilise it, after all, wouldnt it be ironic if Android fanboys didn't know how to use... Google?
3. Who cares? If Apple wins against Samsung, will you suddenly be forced to buy love Apple? And vice versa, if Samsung wins, will Apple fans have to convert to Samsung? Don't think so, its not the end of the world guys. Enjoy your phones.

Samsung is a jack of all trades and they do it well. Yes I will admit that sometimes SE is better in the design department, but as far as what is ticking inside Samsung blows pretty much all away with their best.

I have a problem concerning MHL port, currently, if I am not mistaken, ANY television have MHL functionality, then , it is not possible to charging the SGS2 via this way, except by using an adapter, moreover which is the cable who can be connected on Smartphone, a micro USB connected at the phone side but on which port of the HDTV, does the mirroring work, currently, without the MHL technology on the HDTV, is the really specific cable USB to HDMI provided with the phone?

Regarding the procesor whether it would be Exynos or Tegra 2. What I can see that, country origin of Samsung manufacturer is in Korea and Korea itself located in south east asia. For their own country and their own people, of-cause they will provide the best phone which is Exynos processor. if south east asia will have best processor, India will be one of the country will receive the same processor.

Samsung made 3.6 billion in profits, yes, but they also spent trillion dollars in research, manufacturing, and marketing their thousands of products, from railroad cars to ships to cellphones to radios... Samsung is a behemoth in Korea, and the Korean people are actually the "compulsory investors" into this company, since parts of their tax go into the capitalization of Samsung (and LG too).
Compare this to Sony Ericsson which is a smaller but mobile phone-oriented company, spun off from Sony. Unlike Samsung, SE makes only mobiles. Period. You will never see any SE washing machines, or SE rice cookers. In Korea, there are even Samsung cars (not just mobile phones) and Samsung watches!!!
To summarize, with the huge, almost-universal scope of Samsung's operations, I am not surprised they earned $billions. I would be more surprised, in fact, if they didn't.
As for SE, they make superior mobile phones that are unique in their own right, so I actually prefer SE over Samsung, if given the chance. See, SE specializes in mobile phones, while Samsung is a "generic" manufacturer of EVERYTHING electronics under the sun. Being a jack of all trades, Samsung is very poor in design aesthetics, which explains why sometimes they imitate some best-selling designs for their products (Japanese designs are the common victims of Korean rip-offs)...

They guy there said that S2 would be in showrooms next week by around 28th April and the expected price will be 28k. He also metioned that he works for Samsung, so this information can be considered as insider information :)!
Lets wait and watch....3 days to go!
