hey guys ...galaxy SII is already luanched in INDIA. today i called samsung helpline toll free no.180030008282 & they said it is launched & can be requested by dealer ...its around Rs.35000.

Hi I ordered the sgs 2 from the Samsung web site last Sunday on orange and its being delivered on April the 27th which is Wednesday and if you order before the 27th you get a free 8gb SD card

this looks perfect, mobile of the year.. and the next year, as you will never need more than thatfor at least a couple of years. but i need to now something, does it include the FM transmitter to any radio ?? as i really need this thing in my mobile....

We are gearing up for a release in/on MAY 3rd as a bank holiday on Monday 2nd. There is zero adverts on anyone shop windows and phones4u i do not think will have this touted weeks exclusive, as the date they they are stating is 30/04/11 before in order for them to have that date all others will be pushed behind another 7 days however this may or not mean ontract phones, it depends which branch you talk to but 03/05/11 is a date 04/05/11 is the 1st date of arrivals

He is 100% right iphone4 have come in at a higher price on the 5 sites I checked where the SII is on sale pre-order from uk based internet sites!!!
The price for SII have not been above £520.00 excluding p&p but the iphone4 16gb has been higher each time,
only one did not quote any price as it had sold out of its allocation of 10 but the iphone4 for that site was well over £520
go figure

I have looked at a pre launch model of this phone and it had a 1350mah battery and not 1650 mah. still super light and fast.

4 things I find prevent this from being the perfect smartphone;
-800x480 resolution not enough for a screen this size.
-Lack of a notification LED like on the HTC's & BB's.
-No dual LED flash.
-Stereo speaker, or at least not the speaker on the back of the phone. Why so many manufactures do this???
