[deleted post]Yeah its ugly, and the specs is nonsense. I mean 1ghz dual core cpu, excellent gpu, 1gb ram. What can you do with this phone? Its rubbish, you might as well go for nokia or even better go for iphone.

you can buy samsung galaxy s in romania for 280 eoru on the black market but brand new i did the same.

All phones which feature HD/720p video recording are more or less useless until they have an HDMI port . If you try to view 720p video over normal AV jacks , quality will be poor and not HD quality . Therefore the only 'economical' phone for HD recording and playing is NOKIA N8 . HD recording isn't sufficient , these guys need to put HDMI ports so that people can use the device directly as a portable HD player.

guys,(and girls)i am baffled at what i read here(gsmarrrgh) and other places everyday....this sgs 2 has the EXYNOS(but which may not be so powerful as we thought-maybe even less than tegra2) and the fact that it has "super-duper" amoled plus is actualy a minus for me because i personaly am planning to use this 800$ phone at least 2 years(like ALL my previous SONY handsets)WHITOUT any degrading whatsoever-of the display quality just because I USE IT !!???!!(to be honest i am going to use the display for a little more than just phonecalls,but that's just stupid me i guess..)So,in this regard i wish that they would stop making these AMODEAD screens,until they'll make it be at least as long lasting as the good old LCD..
On the other hand it nonetheless is A GALAXY S phone!!!...,and has 1 gb Ram,usb otg,usb 3 + hs,dlna etc.
The design is...no comment(meaning very,very bad) but i guess i could live with that..
The LGO3D is dual this and dual that...(and this may just prove effective)AND the display is a lovely (from experience tested-at least 4 years long-lasting,you guessed it - L.C.D.(i personaly don't care about the 3d function cause i won't use it anyway ,-i'm just a raw computational power obsessed geek)BUT i can't belive i'm the only one complaining about this...(and please correct me if i'm wrong)the current OS (on that device 2.2) version does not support dual core right? RIGHT! The next update to 2.3(which also doesnt suport dual) will come "sometime in the future" but not very soon...because the'll have to "modd" it with the stupid 3d(which will make your eyes and head hurt in about 15 min. let alone a 2h movie.you'll see...)Now when do you boys and girls think the 2.4(or 3.0 or whatever it's name and number might me-the next one anyway) which finally supports dual core will hit the LGO3D..?? summer 2012...maybe!!...maybe never..like 2.4 on x10..
What do YOU think...considering all this ..what's the most inteligent choice...(dont you dare say iphone 4- dont get me wrong i totaly respect it for it's perfect video/photo cam and general VERY high quality components.but the screen is to freaking small.the iphone 5 may have a 4 incher but it will be to late(for me at least...) and anyhow i wont say ios is stupid but i am allowed to say-i don't like it...too restrictive,too evil for my taste...)

h0ratiu_007, 26 Feb 2011this phone it's amaizing!!!what do you whant more!!!!!How bout a metal casing, 12MP at least, dual flash, HDMI port, Non optional NFC support, NVIDIA chipset rather than ORION for superior graphic speed assembly, casing colour variety, 3D imagery, n yeah, sensible rather than cheaper gadget esp since its made from such cheap material (plastic)!! But on the current playing field, I agree that its more than a country mile way ahead of competition; its revolutionary.
