AnonD-698, 21 Feb 2011yes nokia have completely lost in the battle field of smart... moreditto, nokia devices are reliable, they can make some good phones, but i dont understand what the heck were they doing since 2007..they made two major mistakes, first, OPK's descision of staying away from touchscreen race, 2nd, Elop's descision of sleeping with microsoft and dumping symbian and meego...symbian is a good power efficient os but they dint even bothered to improve the UI, had they done the thing 2 years back, they dont even need to jump for wp7...symbian was their identity, and nokia is a wh0re just like samsung, se and htc lol!! and if i need to choose among wh0res i will defintely go for the most experienced one, who can give me maximum pleasure...lmaoooo..:D

Anonymous, 21 Feb 2011all batteries of samsung are patetic. what happened in the ... morei assume you are talking about battery performance of low end samsung handsets...if you had an idea about android, wp7 and bada devices, you may not have posted the comment...till now sgs has best battery backup among high end androids and omnia7 among wp7s...and if you are comparing it with nokias, let me explain this for you, its illogical...nokia and samsung have different os, different way of approach(samoled, dual core), and definitely 1ghz processor is more power hungry than 600 mhz one, i guess u got what i mean, the choice is yours...in addition recent crops of nokia handsets have poor battery life, im not pointing at specs list, im talking about real life experience...if you dont believe, you can check out nokia c6-01 reviews...

I am a little bit dissapointed actually, I expected more from Galaxy S II. I know you can't expect every features of a phone to be top of the line but a flagship device from SAMSUNG holding back on little things like
1- No HDMI (records 1080p video but no HDMI)
2- No Dual LED flash (a single LED flash doesn't do justice to a camera sensor like this)
3- No dedicated mic for Active Noise Cancelation (It's not like they don't know what this is Nexus S has it)
Even some of mid range Smartphones of todays market have the features I just mentioned above.

Samsung is the world leader in technology (Not only samsung. Koreans are) as of now. They supply sound IC's, screens, internal storage disks to most of the mobile companies like nokia, apple, htc & many more. Most of the best mobile technologies come frm samsung. Really they rock after a big drop in past few years... They know how to price a product against their competitors... Due to this only nokians & sony ericssons grabbed floors....

Is it better if Samsung retains the 4" display instead of going to 4.3"? Additionaly, if they put a HDMI port, would that be awesome?

Mega Pixel does not mean the good picture quality... nokia can never reach at samsung level in the bettle of smartphones they are 100% loser in my opinion..

My SGS 1 is 1 yr old only and it is perfect. Prefer to wait for SGS 3 or 4. SGS 2 looks too big, but logo on back makes phone more classy. Keep going, Samsung !

The samsung galaxy s2 is the first phone to have MHL which is Mobile High Definition Link which means you can output USB to HDMI.
