I updated to Jelly Bean. But i feel ics was more stable. JB is a bit laggy. Hope Samsung soon releases a minor update for stability.

Hi fnds. I just updated my sgs2 frm ics to jb. But there is no multi window feature . If u run jb . Thn pls check it and give ur opinion. Thx.

JB upgrade for Samsung Galaxy SII 9100G is available through Kies. I upgraded on yesterday. It's cool and no issues found. Am from Kasaragod(Kerala).

chamilj, 14 Apr 2013I bought my Galaxy SII(Q) from Korea and I use it Sri Lanka... moredont use texts ur calls are very cheap at around 1 rs and 2 rs a mint nah..:p

jeet, 14 Apr 2013hi ,what about flash & root what is the meaning of both... moreIm from the philippines, flash and root means you tweak your fone by rooting your fone you can access of so many apps, games, custom roms and others, you can root your fone thru odin wherin clockworkmod apps can be done in rooted fone and from there you can flash your custom kernel and and intalled new roms btw installing new roms thru odin, ota (over the air) can installed only from samsung official firmware update you have to wait when samsung release that, but in rooted fone theres no problem in update all you have to do is to download tha available custom roms and try it.

I bought my Galaxy SII(Q) from Korea and I use it Sri Lanka. I have upgraded my SII from Ginger Bread to Ice cream Sandwich. But now I can not send text messages. Please help me.

In fact I get in love with this phone from first sight and now finally I can buy it with about $330 but the latest versions is not like the original old ones ( as most users said ) it has some problems such as overheat or lagging or freezing or bad camera quality and bad display compared with the Korean and Vietnamese 2011 made therefore i will buy a second hand old one with about $300 !!! (only $30 between the new &used one). in fact that remembers me with old Nokia smartphones which first made in Finland (the best ones) then in Germany & Hungary then in Korea and finally in china ( the worst ) . in fact that is a disappoint difference between Samsung and apple which has a robust quality .
