rajesh, 07 Apr 2013Is it better to update jelly bean using kies or directly. ... moretry to update via kies. if that fails and your phone is not rooted, take it to a samsung service center. they will do it. you can also update via odin. factory reset/hard reset is advised after update as this will help in avoiding issues like battery drain/handset freeze/phone restarting etc.

Secondly how to do factory reset for S II...???

Please guys, can someone tell me does Jelly Bean (or some other) update fix the popular "camera pink spot" problem with Galaxy S2? I plan to buy the phone, so I'm asking if anyone still has that problem.

Click on OK/Yes and let KIES update your phone for you. Simple and easy. And yes, official Samsung Jellybean update for India has been rolled out. I have update my SGII to 4.12 (Jellybean).

Official jellybean is out & Check it on ur phone's "About Device"-Software Update.
The update is of 399.66 mb.
A huge improvement in performance is being seen but The Heating is extreme at the back portion & battery back up is like 4-5 hours I am getting with light usage.
Anyone having solution plz help...

Latest firmware version : PDA:LSD / PHONE:LS8 / CSC:LS6 (MID)
IS THIS THE SAME WHICH YOU GOT.....Im unable to update because again and again Im getting error message as UNABLE TO UPDATE FIRMWARE, UNKNOWN ERROR OCCURED, do you have any idea how to overcome this.....pls pls pls pls help

today i m planning to buy samsung s2 or samsung s duos.
but i cam to knw samsung s duos process so slow,,,,so i gave the idea but as i listend the voice quality is not gud in s2 as callee complaints.......
soo please let me know frriends aftr updating it to jelly beann,,can we have solution for voice ??????

Only 2 days ago I bought an S2 (GT I9100). It has ICS operating system. The only problem is that while talking during a conversation, the person at the other end complains about a little less volume, even when I've maxed the volume in my S2. I read online that a lot of galaxy s2 users are also facing the same problem. Guys who have updated to jelly bean, please tell if updating to jelly bean solves this issue or not.
One user in this forum, has recently posted that the sound is "awesome" after upgrading to jelly bean 4.1.2. I would like to know whether he was talking about the sound when music/ video is played or was he talking also about the sound during the conversation, which the person at the other is hearing.
Please help guys, how to solve this low volume during conversation issue.
Also tell, how much time does it take to upgrade the OS to jelly bean in authorised customer care outlet.

hi s2 fans..i am from pune..i hav updated my s2 to jelly bean..on first day there was a lot of battery drain..on jelly bean..so i disappointed on jb..bt as every prob has solution...so there is a solution on this problem.aftr update to jb do factory reset..i hv done this and nw i hav same battery life as i had on ics..on my s2...
