AnonD-113903, 17 Feb 2013Hi frnds i am from india I was update my s2 with jellybe... moreif your phone is rooted, first download triangleaway app from xda-developers (just google for it). reset your flash counter using this app. later download the latest official firmware available from sammobile for your region and flash it using odin. this will unroot your phone and remove traces of rooting or flashing unofficial rom.

Updated to jelly bean yesterday via Odin... Guys you gonna love it ,the all new UI( nature Ux) it's flawless and very smooth, no errors or bugs till now. The official ROM is available in androidadvices.com with step by step instructions, just follow them correctly, trust me it will not take more than 15 mins, I don't know when it will get released in India, but I'm very sure you can easily update to jelly bean, but make sure that you follow the instructions very correctly......

While I am not so sure if it would work. But just download the official ROM(4.0.4) by samsung. flash it via odin.
Then you would have offical rom but u need to find a software which could unroot the device.
I believe that is all you need. Hope it helps.

I keep getting the error "unknown error by errorcallback" every time i try to use the camera on my S2, iv factory reset it and Re-flashed it, and had no luck solving it, what should i try now the phone it´s brand new one just one moth of use

The fact that Samsung is seeding out JB for the Galaxy S2 is another proof behind the success of a brand like Samsung. The lesson or exercise behind this practice is a simple one to learn for other brands like HTC which seems to be dropping further down in the sales charts is this: That it is not enough for any company to keep producing the latest products, but also to keep the loyalty of its customer base solid. Since it's been proven that some of these can take the JB upgrade, it would work a long way to assuage the expectations of existing customers by making that extra effort by making JB available to them too. Loyalty is ingrained somewhere between that fine line that divides wild profiteering and keeping a solid client base in good faith.

Jelly Bean is good, but on S2 Samsung made it impossible to use "Gl to Sd" or use "directory bind", that I can use on my S3 with Jelly Bean with no problem at all, and that is the reason why I went back to ICS 4.0.4 XWLPY on my S2!

I have a big problem whith my s2 is ovearheating enen with KH3 modem wich is the best.this phone i have it from Orange and is full of bugs. In 2011 i bought a phone from spain and it was the best no bugs but someone stoleit from me.i think the galaxy s2 is a veryyyy god phone is not oldschool it was the thinnest the largest the fastest and this list can go on and on and on

But I did it thr... moreActually my S2 came preloaded with ICS 4.0.4 and I bought it on this Jan 4th but after 2 days it started shutting itself off randomly when on idle mode. sometimes it lasts 3 days sometimes it shuts down within a day. and the battery drain is huge. I read that a lot of people are having the same problem. since then I was waiting for an update but sadly instead of JB we got a bug fix so i thought i should ask whether this update resolves these issues or not. If not then theres no point updating to this bug fix, I'd wait for JB. but if it does I will. And thanks for replying.
