2Pac4Life, 16 Feb 2013Why is Samsung S2 oldschool ? S3 is the same phone with big... more720p is a big improvment, and the S3 sound quality with Boeffla Kernel and "DAC-direct" is just as good as the Galaxy S sound quality with "Voodoo Sound"!
With Jelly Bean on my S2 I can no longer use "Gl to Sd" or "Directory Bind"!

AnonD-81417, 16 Feb 2013If u have money go s3..s2 just bit oldschool?Why is Samsung S2 oldschool ? S3 is the same phone with bigger screen and quad core that is it !! Same camera , same speaker same same ... I chosed S2 over S3 beacuse it is much beautiful and it has much stille and class .
But everyone is free to chose what phone he likes . Better chose Note 2 N7100 than S3 beacuase there is a big diference beside S2 .

4.1.2 and everything works great but when I open a program and then directly go back to home screen it opens slowly plz help me..

Those who updated to Jelly Bean-did you try to install flash player on it? I know its not available on play store any more,but it can be still downloaded from third party sources on internet...

some people say it has overheating problem...some say latest ones have sleep of death issue.. still phone price doesnot drop...neither does the buying pattern why??

If your phone is doing nothing and its on airplane mode yet it lasts only 6-8 hours, then I will doubt the battery.
Btw, I assume OS is from OEM (Samsung) and not rooted android. If its rooted, then such a thing can happen. I had rooted (CM 7.2) Motorola XT5. Battery drained in less than 10hrs. But with OEM 2.1 Android it lasted 16-18 hrs.

Just a bug fix of some kind. Details are unclear. I am still looking for a changelog for the version. Also emailed Samsung.
However, so far I haven't faced an issue. My phone was fine without it, just that it consumed a lot of memory after the update from 4.0 to 4.0.4 last year. I cleared log data and some issues were solved.
If you are facing an issue, then I suggest you to update your device. After update, you may need to clear old data.
Settings> Applications> All> LogsProvider> Clear Data
back up your SMS, if important, although it shouldn't erase it.

But i have noticed about th... moreyou can try switching off automatic brightness and make it manual. it should solve your problem regarding screen brightness going dull but it can decrease your battery life..try juice defender for battery saving..i am Gaurav from Ludhiana..you can find lots from XDA developer..it is very good site if you have questions regarding anything.it was pleasure helping another S2 fan.

I did it in my s 2 from ics to jelly bean I.e. 4.1.2..

But i have noticed about the counters.."what was written while I started the procedure". but anyways JB I found smooth & bit faster than ICS..only thing bothers is screen light sometimes gets dim for some time. dont know why? R u experiencing the same?
And what's ur name & where r u from? Asking bcoz u helped me a lot. I'm from Pune & my last name is "Das", 1st name is difficult :)
