For those who upgraded to Jelly Bean-what about the adobe flash player? Did anyone tried to install it? I know its not available on google play store any more, but it can be downloaded from other sources...

actually its a very good phone options but its is amazing price 400 $ is expensive .. so i prefer to buy (Ipad )

Best Phone... in all ways.. specification / Camera / and all the only problem with this is about battery life... if anyone has got solution pls suggest... if i charge 100% @ nyt if the time is 11:00 pm... in the morning @ 7:00 am it will be of 23%.. no live-wallpaper... all apps closed... phone has been kept on flight mode.. brightness is the lightest... and only alarm running... I can get no solution to get out of this battery problem... or else best phone... to own it.

Download flashable firmware from SAMMOBILE.COM and flash the downloaded TAR file with ODIN to your S2

I had to read the entire c... moreany on to help me, i tried using kies to upgrade my os to jelly bean but kies is not showing any update. the new firmware kies is showing is same as the one i have, am from Nigeria and my os is still 2.3.5 .... pls any help i will really be happy.

1.I am also getting the same Baseband,Kernel & Build versions what you have written as i flashed the same firmware
2.i have also not changed csc. Change of CSC will be needed when you want to update via kies. Changing CSC will wipe your device. many times changing csc is not allowed. One disadvantage of other country rom is that you wont be able to update via kies if new update comes but S2 Has already recived 2 major upgrades ( jb to ICS AND JB) So chances are less that it will get any more major update. but if s2 get another update - (A).we can update via odin again or (B). flash india rom and update via kies or
change csc to india and then update via kies whatever you prefer..BUT official rom is not out in INDIA yet.
3. Dont worry about kies.first update it to the latest version then connect. it should support.only thing no update.
4. regarding counter ones you put mobile in download mode ( volume down+home+power then you press volume up) you ll see it will be written custom binary download-zero, custom binary-samsung official. if you put custom rom then counter will start and samsung care can know you flashed unofficial rom.
so be happy and enjoy jb.i hope you found it easy to upgrade via odin. so no point waiting as in india it gets release very very late.

"it wont root your phone or wonts start your counter in mobile because its official samsung release ( if you use Custom ROM counter starts and in case you need to go service center your warranty will be void but not with this as counter will be zero only)".

my s2 automatically goes to sleep mode. after regular interval of time their screen turn into black. first i think they are switch off bt accutally they are not switch off. bt when we call them into another phone they caller ringtone hear. bt in s2 they don't show any reaction. plllllzzzzzz tell me dat what can i do.

gs2 fan, 13 Feb 2013Can someone please bother to respond to my post from earlie... more@gs2 fan ... you have youtube videos to see diferences beetwen ics and jb ... if u update try kies your rom will be original (but u should wait the update to come in yours region..I suposse in march all regions will get the update)... if U update with odin use ofcial spanis or korean rom , but u will lose your waranty....
And yes u can get back your ics rom ...but u should flash it whit odin .and again u will lost your waranty... Just search on youtube....
I am waiting update in my country so bad...jb rooles!
