Jelly Bean is not noticably faster or better on my S3, only "placebo", and Android 4.2 is a buginfested disaster! This "bug" is a hardware problem and not a proble with 4.0.4, and far from every S2 have this hardware-problem, my S2 does not!

The leaked version of it is available in US. If I consider their previous releases, then it should be available after 2 months of Europe release. May be by Dec end or Jan 2013. I9100 will get first update followed by I9100G in couple of weeks as it happened in past.

I NEVER said 4.0.4 wasn't Smoother.... I Just said that it(Stock 4.0.4 ROM for i9100) has a Hard Brick Bug... And ppl Shouldnt use it for that bug...
4.0.3 or 4.1.x is better..
BTW 4.0.4 is smoother than 4.0.3

i have the phone for 1 year and suddently yesterday without any reason it just stop working just nothing ... i try eveything like charging or put it to doownload mode and it just not work it is totaly dead . i belive there are some issues with samsung quality... i never again in my life gona give 600 euros for a hi-end smartphone that it just dead after a year of very careful use samsungsucks

I wanna know what's the di... moreThere is no visual difference. They have just added few icons like when you press left button on home screen, earlier it was plain menu and now it has icons on the left hand side.
Its going to be new UI like SIII in Jelly bean update as mentioned in GSMArena blog.

Its buggy and unstable and has a hard brick bug....
Use ICS 4.0.3 or JB 4.1.x ROMs

1>First root your phone using Odin(one time process) (google how to root i9100)
2>Flash the ROM ... go to the link i posted in my previous comment... download the files from that link.. ROM n Settings fix.. for RRv3.12
Put them on your memory card and FOLLOW their INSTRUCTIONS !!
I have formatted my phone memory n cache around 30 times AND tried around 8-9 diff ROMs and it is very very EASY !!
It might seem difficult at first; but then it u will find it very easy next time....
And nothing happens to your phone if you root.. You can unroot whenever u want..

W.T.F..update 4.0.4
Am using S2 frm last 1.2 years.
I upgraded my S2 from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 through kies in India. After upgrade everything was nice,except internet speed. Speed drastically came down& now I could not use my S2 internet at all..What the use of a great smartphone without internet..?
I even asked with service centre,they told this kernel is like dat only& they could not do anything.
Now I have to wait till next upgrade :-) ...Bad sammy...
when jellybean releasing in India?
