i've used my SGSII since july 2011,last year i bought it....SGSII realy-reeeeaaly awesome....compare the other, some of lagging on gingerbread version & updated to ICS 4.0.3 OTA, unstable but more fast thn gingerbread...
imwaiting for jellybean update...
love my SGSII...

heya guys i have bought my new gs2 and 4 times now it has turned off and in order to turn it on i had to open the back and take off the battery then re-enter it and then the phone would open again.i had an application called battery saver and i deleted it but the phone turned off again at some point.any suggestions/help would be much appreciated (i'll evenyually pay a vist at the samsung service centre of there isnt a solution )

Running 4.1.2 now !!
I have been using I9100 for past 5 months, And let me tell you the phone is awesome.. White Color is just awesome.. I wanted to buy Xperia S but then since the then Sony NXT series was suffering from Screen issues i bought this one..And its Worth it
CONS: Camera has little slow shutter compared to the NEW competition..
First i used stock ROM then, I rooted the phone and am now using Resurrection Remix v3.12 Android 4.1.2 .. And it is very stable.. Everything works..
GUYS Try this ROM (Backup Contacts n Messages; Format Everything)(Dont use anything else from the old ROM)

Problems like getting frequently switched off and TW launcher not working often should not show up a brand new phone like yours...

Thanks for your reply vishesh.. I know jelly bean is not yet officially available. My query was my S II's version is 4.0.3 but many has told its 4.0.4 but for me its not showing any update- whr r u from and what's your S IIs version!! Thanks in advance

I bought this phone 10 days before must say it,s a damn good phone my version is 4.03 made in vietnam my question is it orignal or no & how to check cpu & gpu pls help guy,s.

It should come in a month, they are testing it and if you explore Blog section of GSMArena, there was an interesting post on Jellybean update for SII. With this update, complete UI is going to change like SIII.

Check your Kies version, it should be Version 2.5.0.12104_15.
If not, update your Samsung Kies, connect your phone to PC and it should show update.

i am from armenia and i want to buy Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II i found one(not new),but they bring it from outside armenia may be europe or usa i dont no if i buy it can be a problem like it locked or dont work (may be i use it inside or outside armenia anybody can help me thank you

And also when i checked in software update in phone via settings its saying "no update available" WHY SO. PLS HELP, THANKS IN ADVANCE
