I bought Samsung phone in Dec. 2011 but the headset became faulty 2 days ago. I rushed from Macau to Hong Kong Samsung Service Center and was surprised by the number of waiting customers. Many had to stand up as there were only about 12 seats.
The service lady told me that the warranty for the headset was for 3 months only so my headset couldn’t be repaired or replaced. I do not think it is fair to us but its seems that we have no alternative but to avoid Samsung products. I would mention that the Samsung Kies remains one of the worst phone softwares despite of so many changes in versions.

battery is very poor.if u r a rapid user this phone is very bad. apart from this all the application and other every thing is good.

good to see you still around, it used to be a very good board, and still some very good user posting useful stuff.
I am sorry to hear about your experience with ICS, if you say so I believe it, because I know that you know your stuff, I just posted the my own experience with ICS using freind's phone for a day and I loved it, so may be the problem is more wide spread than I thought!! specially after you said it.
you remember I was looking into good satnav, and you suggested few, I end up using the default google satnav and its just great for my use. only problem is, you lose the 3G signal the map goes as well,
is any of them you use, comes with internal map? so if I lose the 3g I can still navigate my way? (with GPS of course)

Hiast... Feel upset with this mobile i choose this phone rather than iphone 4s coz of the comments but now i got it since lasr week and everyday it freeze and need to restart 3x a day ... Tsk tsk.. Any suggestion to get rid of this freeZing issues? Thanks

AnonD-7412, 26 Apr 2012u see folks ???? thats what im talking about. Those who are... more I just think it might be some apps crashed with your phone. Did you upgrade at official Samsung Center? Did u install the apps from the Play Store only? If so,try this first, reset all data on ur phone to factory setting (backup your importants first). If it has done, and it still got the same problems, u have to bring it to the service center, it still in guarantee, doesn't it?
And u didn't root ur phone, right?
I tell this,because i use SGS II ICS with no probs like u said, except the point 5. But, it means nothing to me... :-)

what a jocking
asphalt6 hd not working on my gs2 android 4.0
but work perfectly with my 1year old phone wave2 bada2.0
which tends to use wave2 much more than sgs2
i have paid it on sgs2 but got full version free on wave2
anyone experians same problem?

u see folks ???? thats what im talking about. Those who are still unlocking features of this set on ICS havent yet noticed so called weird activity. I mean this is not a big deal by any means; at least sgs2 dont keeps me away from her. Fact is its acting weird sometimes. Like
1. After pressing home button nothing pops up, not a single menu, nothing but the wallpaper.
2. The screen and whole display flashes as if i am taking out the battery and reconnecting it 10 times in a second.
3. EDGE connectivity cant establish hence no icon on the status bar.
4. Scrolling is not smooth as mentioned by one guy earlier.
5. After dialing ussd code, whole screen goes blank for a while.
