All of u guyz please stop ur expression of impatience for having ICS. Never put your device on with this coz it doesnt worth it. its full of bugs like GTA 4. It will start making u worry about ur valuable device. Just wait for the next upgrade.

Hi all, here i am to express my opinion with great and deep regret.U know whats this all about. its the evil ICS that just ruined my glossy galaxy. Seems like some drunked fu**n bi**h programmed this ics which is why its acting crazy. I cant believe how worse a firmware can be !!! I just lost my regular cellular activity completely. Network always play hide and seek with the receiver , mobile networks are not recognized most of the times. I DONT LOVE MY SGS2 NEMORE LIKE I DID BEFORE ONLY BECAUSE OF ICS. My screaming is against all those unconscious and inefficient samsung engineers and programmers. Please guyz come on. its our thousand dollar handset. U've gotta find some way to either let us roll back to gingerbread or release a "non-upgraded" ICS without all those BUGZZZZZ......

ics is buggy. all those who havnt got ics, no need to get restless, have patience and ics will come to you. even i was being inpatient for not getting ics, but after updating i realized that 2.3.6 was much better than buggy ics.

Anonymous, 24 Apr 2012100% guarranteed go for Galaxy S2 it wont let you down for ... moreUntrue. It's actually an awful phone with an awful, clunky operating system. If you fancy a phone that crashes and freezes constantly (to be told by your phone provider that there's nothing wrong with it. Jeez...imagine how awful it would be to use if there WAS something wrong with it...), then go ahead. Worst mistake I made.

AnonD-52021, 25 Apr 2012Battery life is the biggest problem for Samsung S2. I need ... moreDear ccchow, instead of keeping chargers, please buy extra original batteries with dock charger. I have 2 Anker 1900 mA batteries and 1 dock charger. And one same original battery that came with mobile. So I have two extra batteries at the same time fully charged. If we are using smartphone then it is joke that we keep data off, no live wall paper, low screen mode etc.........
Hope you understand. You can take only one 2000 mA samsung extra battery that will be enough. Please enjoy this phone.

to increase battery backup u should turn off data packet when not in use. you can turn off it by long pressing power button and in menu "data deactivate"

Battery life is the biggest problem for Samsung S2. I need to have battery charger ready in car, office and home. Otherwise, your life will be miserable. Other than that, I have no complain.

Hani, 24 Apr 2012I still do not understand why Samsung did not release the A... moresame thing here in Australia we're on a 2.3.5 version still but a lot of countries already benefited with ICS 4.0.3 version. Yes i called it DISCRIMINATION from Samsung we felt abandoned, remember we are also your customer who is willing to pay but give us as well your benefits to us as you did to other countries and dont spare us.

if you are not a heavy browser, there is no point to have your 3G activated all the times!
and when you want you can do it manually in 2 seconds,
this simple solution made my GS2 go for 2 days on light use, and 24 hour, on medium to heavy use.
try it and tell me what you think!
                            thanks

I want loads of response to these two magical solution,
you don't believe me, try it!
                              Good luck

                                Ok everyone
people talk about battery issue, which to some extend is correct, but you can easy get 12 hours on medium to heavey use.
NOW I have a solution for you, which doesn't need downloading apps,

                                Ok, TWO simple steps.
                                1. activate galaxy default power save mode
                                2. deactivate (unclick) the "use packet data" which is under mobile network in setting

you will at least double your power this way, 24hr easy.

if packet data deactivated you can still , receieve call, send text etc, you can't browse internet or use 3G, that is what is killing your battery, so activate it when you want to use internet, takes 2 seconds.

specially if you are not a heavy user and simply use your phones for internal SD apps, and calls, then you will benefit from these simple soloution ,

please come back and report your experience after doing this,
                                thanks

I still do not understand why Samsung did not release the Android OS 4 yet for the Middle East users. Those who imported their SII from UK managed to upgrade their phones. I can not think of any reason for this discrimination..Same policy was there when they started selling the SI when they included a very limited version of Market for this region. Very disappointed..
