Just got ICS on Three in Ireland through Kies. Easy as. UI a little cruder IMO, fonts bigger and apps grid gone to 4x4, preferred more on screen.
Swype not working either, apparently still in beta (unless someone knows better).
All in all looking good so far though, definitely seems a little quicker going into gallery and camera. Will know better after a bit more mucking about.

using gt i9100 tryin to update but its saying no update found. its not network locked so I'm a bit confused. any ideas? tried through kies and the phone itsel on a wireless network.

Go to XDA, download ROM in format PDA/PHONE/CSC like XXLPQ/DDLP8/DDLP7 , which is known as Indian official ICS, but not confirmed. I am using it, it's the most stable official ICS so far.
Go to development section of XDA, then find the ROM post by the member called Intratech, you'll find it.

To find your phone IMEI number press *#06# . To change your csc/location for your phone press *#272*xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx# , where xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is your phone IMEI number, and then choose the csc you want (for example NEE is for the Nordic Countries, Sweden...).
