I hate it that they removed the ability to change shutter sound in camera app. I also noticed that camera sound is not removed when you silent system sounds in setting. After the update I need to silent the ringer to remove camera sound which is annoying. The sound is annoying. Ugh. And I don't wanna root my phone just to remove the sound. :|

After update to 4.0.3 the ram is increasing & the battery is very worst than previous 2.3.6. Don't update it to 4.0.3

Good update, if you want the UI to look more like ICS download Nova launcher which works perfectly for me and its really fast. I have been using it for a few days now and only one or two games did not want to work but the daily use is fantastic and it score 10/10 from my side. UI can be improved....

Yes. Once I faced a problem where after downloading during phone update process, it got stuck (showing Green Android symbol) and Kies suggested me to remove battery and restart phone and again try to update phone. I tried again and this time it downloaded and updated properly.
I think just follow Kies instructions and do the same. Everything should be fine.

AnonD-38454, 19 Mar 2012I just updated my s2 to 4.0.3 but my problem is i cant open... moreI already update my sgs 2 to ICS 4.03. You can read my experience before. I don't have any internet connection problem, exactly the same like before the update. Just a 1 program that doesn't work at all, and couple programs don't work normally. Most of it are working ok. Gps reception i think is better now. because before its difficult to get gps reception in my bedroom, now is locking for about 15 secs. 1 think that i feel a bit worse is battery duration.

Can anyone tell me when the ICS update will be available in South Africa?? Because my Samsung KIES shows that i have the latest firmware
