The thing to understand about mediocre batterylife is that you can only do so and so much then using the phone actively (= the usual advices applies here about reducing/toggle screen-brightness and ony using Wifi-, Bluetooth- and GPS then needed, using static/preferbly black wallpaper). The real trick is to get controll over the "leakage" then your phone is locked down and supposedly "unused". As mentioned in previous post my best advice is to install "Apndroid" or "Apn-Switch" in order to simply toggle on/off packetdata (internet-access) on demand. Dont worry - you can still make/recieve phonecalls and SMS even with toggle in off-position. Try it.

I agree! The ONLY disadvantage is the lack of TPU-cases designed with that extra thickness in mind. Your best shot is a bumper-style case. As for the extended batterylife - forget "tug of war" battery-defenders trying to autoclose apps - instead install the toggle-widget "Apndroid" (packetdata on/off) and "SwithPro widget" (toggle brightness Auto/minimum and much more) + using black static wallpaper (looks especially classy on white SG2:s) - and suddenly I go though a working day with a very reassuring battery-margins. Always more then 50% left before bedtime.

Samsung galaxy s2 is the best smart phone in the world for now, I have been using the phone since August 2011, and I'm satisfy with the performance of the phone.

Well there is absolutely no need to stop that. Let them have at least some work, with their crap devices they can't do any better but voting down this phone. Nokia wad never a true competitor in smartphone business, so ignore them.
The above came from a Samsung hater actually. I never liked Samsung, doubt I ever will...

Do this test, as soon as a new phone hits the top spot, check how fast it gets downvoted. Then, as soon as Samsung is back in top spot, the downvoting of the rival phone also mysteriously stops. Weird eh?

HEY! Is it just me or is it for real, that some trolls are voting for Nokia phones on GSMArena and trying to bring down every other phone's ratings.?
What losers man. Galaxy S II's reputation is enough to push sales. Who reads those ratings before buying? But seriously, GSMArena need to figure out something to stop this.

I have both iPhone 4S and SGS2. Both great, but the iPhone lasts so much longer than SGS2 battery with normal use.

I like this phone tooo much...but im looking for a skin or a fancy cover and there are none available in india for this phone.....unlike laptop skins which are sold in India by theskinmantra.com or incfrut.... I tried some local shops but they were pathetic quality trichur , where I stay. Just wish that site theskinmantra or any decent site also launch mobile skins with similar designs as they have for laptop skins.
