AnonD-42694, 17 Feb 2012is it true that there is only 1.1 gb of free memory for app... moreI have more than 200 apps and games... installed on my S2 and I still have more than 850 mb left on my internal memory and with "gl to sd" I have more than 9 Gb left on my internal sd-card and more than 12 Gb left on my 32 Gb external sd-card with many movies and a lot of music..., so only the 64 Gb 4S can install more apps and games than I can install on my S2 but the 64 Gb 4S is very expensive and definetly not worth the money!
With the official 2000 mAh battery made by Samsung for S2 the batterylife is far better than 4S!

This beast had millions of sales and that made Apple so crazzy that they went to sue Samsung cause they should not release sgs2 in US but Samsung did it .it came late but samsung has still made it and gave apple a lession.Congrats Samsung !!! U gave people want they want with no restrictions worldwide.

1 what is h... moreHard Reset will completely WIPE your device. It can be done from CWM Recovery. So you've to be Rooted.
Don't mess Hard Reset with Factory Reset, former is just to push the device in Factory state, but Hard Reset is different.
For factory reset just type *2767*3855# in keypad.

I have been a user of this phone for last 6 months and all I can say is there no match of this phone right now in the market in any aspects. I took two months to decide on this phone. Whenever I visited the store and tried to look at the other options, I failed. No other phone could impress me as much as this one.
I saw a lot of comments on battery, but having a beast like this you would expect to have such battery life. If battery is the concern, better switch on the data as and when required. Without data and wifi, I could use it just as a phone for more than 48 hours.
I have not used my notebook for last 6 months for emails, browsing, youtube and documentations.
If you want the best design, the best app experience, best performance, best screen, best android experience this is THE phone for you. Trust me, if you can shell out 30K INR or 700 USD, there is no better option than this.

The phone is quite awesome in terms of features and the android OS is a wow for me. However after downloading a new version of Samsung Kies to my laptop it suddenly made it very slow and hanging during bootup.
Samsung needs to make Kies with more features including making easy Internet connection with the phone modem.

I think Arc is below P20k right now and Arc is about P22k to P23k last time I checked the price on December. I bought my SGSII for P29k on a Samsung Shop (yes, a bit higher the price compared to other non-samsung shop that sells SGSII). I'm fine with the price higher because at least with a Authorised Samsung shop I'm secured that they have full scope with repairs and returns.
