by the way, nokia is better atleast in this department wherein the aspect ratio is maintained with a FIT TO SCREEN option!!!
hopefully samsung sorts this out

Hey, is it possible to playback video files in 16:9 aspect ratio without the picture being deformed (it usually vertically stretches the picture)?
I tried MX, Mobo, QQ players on my Galaxy i7500 but no player can crop 16:9 aspect without deforming it (ajusting it to the size of the screen, which is not real widesreen)

This phone is shit! All plastic body, a copy paste from the iPhone which includes the box the look even the OS looks extremely a copy version of iOS!!
Want to get the source of creativity just ahead to apple away from any other copiers!

yesterday while i stand and reaching my SGS2 from the pc desk i dropped from my hand on the second glass desk because i'm not be to carefull it droped so heavily my hart stops because i'm scared of braking and scratching beatiful device but when i took in my hand after crash on the device nothing absolutely nothing there is no damage on the device not even a smallest scratch or anytginh else.... sorry for my bad english that's my experience with dropping so far

I previosly had the Nokia N8 an there was a Superb app created by Beta labs,the Sleeper Screen which would display the clock when the phone what not in use an between 8 o"clock at Night to 8 o"clock in the Morning the digital display would be Bright Red so no use switching the alarm clock on ,wish Samsung would create something like this for the Galaxy S2 an it did not drain the battery as well

I was a complete tool for buying this phone. it sucks. i have lost USD 900 buying this sh!t. i should have never moved from the iphone. no apps available on android. u can not do basic things on this crap phone. the battery : prefer not to comment on it. i regret switching to android

wow finally the much awaited 2.3.5 version of android has been available now here in AUSTRALIA through Vodafone network, but they say OPTUS got 2.3.6 version, coz im a vodafone customer im a bit envious with optus but im happy with my new 2.3.5 that used to be a 2.3.3, it gives a super fast in every task i do, its to totally different experience now with this awesome phone, hope vodafone can match optus with their availability of providing a 2.3.6 gingerbread.

AnonD-29631, 13 Dec 2011What is the fastest method to transfer photos to the comput... morego to the setting WIRELESS AND NETWORK then scroll down to USB UTILITIES and click it then plug the usb cable from your phone to your pc, then after you plug them click my COMPUTER, then up go you can transfer your pics from your phone to your pc and its really really super fast. Hope this will help you.

anyone else have a white small spot/patch in the screen that seems like its stuck on a brightness level and it disappears at a high brightness levels?
