Rahul Dey, 10 Dec 2011I have this phone and it is really the best phone that I ha... more1) Lagging problem can happen to any electronic device however advanced it may be.
2) Honeycomb was meant just for tablets and the next OS and by far the best OS version from android will be the Ice-Cream Sandwich more popularly known as ICS which is a combined effort of the GB and the HC versions!!!
3) Good news is that samsung will be officially offering the ICS for our GSIIs till the last week of Jan, world over!!!

Hurray! ICS 4.0.1 beta from Samsung will be available for download next via youmobile and Samfirmware.
Official ICS update to be available early January 2012 according to Samsung UK.

The case is very serious:
If it's a yellow exclamation mark, that means that your phone has been rooted. It has lost its warranty and you've bought a phone that has been used before.
That means, someone has sold you a used phone!
If it's a yellow tint, it means you're also a owner of a faulty screen very (VERY!) common on Amoled Plus' screens.
That will NOT go away!
In any case, my advice would be to return it as soon as possible as try to get your money back.
Either you've been sold an used phone whose warranty is now invalid OR you've been sold a faulty screen and you'll never get rid of that problem!
Take it back as soon as possible and consider - depending on the case - taking legal action if the seller refuses to accept the phone back and giving back your money.

I used wifi on my device for the first a... morethe phone is not defective. the problem is with the WiFi modem.i think your WiFi modem does not give automatic ip addresses. to solve this go to your phone's setting>wireless and network> WiFi settings>then press the option button that is below the screen on the left side>go to advanced>ip settings and tick the use static ip box>set ip address like 192.168.1.9>then set gateway like 192.168.1.1>then set netmask like 255.255.255.0>then set DNS1 OR DNS2 OR BOTH.
make sure your ip address does not coincide with any other device connected to the same network.
i used
DNS1 AS 203.94.227.70
DNS2 AS 203.94.243.70
NETMASK AS 255.255.255.0
GATEWAY AS 192.168.1.1
IP AS 192.168.1.30
AND IT WORKED FOR ME..
DNS ARE PROVIDED BY THE INTERNET PROVIDER
IF THE ABOVE SETTING DONNOT WORK FOR YOU THEN CONTACT YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER OR LOOK IN YOUR COMPUTERS WIFI SETTINGS FOR DNS if you can access internet through it through the same netwok. CONTROL PANEL>NETWORK AND INTERNET>MANAGE WIRELESS>GO TO ADAPTER PROPERTIES OF YOUR WIFI>IPV4.

Can anyone help??
I used wifi on my device for the first at my relative's home. Now I am trying to use it at my home as well as my uni.. At both places the wifi shows connected but the net doesnt work, no site nor the market nor anything else opens.. Yesterday I went to the same relative's home and there everything worked well, everything was opening!!!
Is this a setting's problem or is it a cell phone defect??

This is the best phone i have ever had...before buying this phone i had a few questions and i asked here that were regarding the battery and yellow tint issue and thanks to some ppl who helped me out.the yellow tint is not visible at all in my display with 2.3 GB and the battery back up is OK gives me a day with light use and 6 hours with hard use so its ok with me.....special thanks to gs2 fan and itumi for helping me to make this decision.....please give me more tips to improve my phone.....

A yellow exlamation mark can mean your phone has been used and rooted in which case you may have problems if you'll ever need to take it under guarantee to have it repaired.
If you mean a yellow tint, then you have bought a phone that - as many others - suffers from an unsolvable fault.
In any case, the sad reality is you should immediately return it to where you've bought it as either it's a phone that has already been used (and returned to the shop) OR it's a faulty device with Amoled's Plus typical yellow tinting problem.
