Hi guys I've had this lovely phone for about 2 weeks now? so lemme give you some pros and cons, also hope you guys can offer solutions for my probs.
(:
1. Everything is changeable. Fonts, theme, keyboard, it's really fun. I love all the customization. Oh and I wanted to ask, is there an application that lets you customize the msgs thread?
2. Love android.
3. It's a really good smartphone
4. Camera is not bad, though I haven't really tried it out.
5. Screen is huge even though it's broad but it makes watching videos and stuff more delightful(:
6. Internet for me is fast
Overall it's just a really good phone
):
1. Short short short battery life. I have to charge everyday. Sometimes even twice a day. I wonderf if there's any application that extends batt life or helps you manage battery use? please please help me on this one.
2. It heats up ALOT. using for 5mins already makes it warm. It causes my palms to get sweaty and gross... is this a cause for concern? Anything wrong with the batt or system?
3. Sometimes it hangs while I'm typing msg or when my friend spams me in fb messenger. Like now. But I changed to Go keyboard ystd so not sure if it'll still hang. BTW it's the keyboard that hangs.
The problems are irritating but not enough to make me dislike this phone. Anyone can help me with the probs? Tyyyy!

I have been trying downloading dstv mobile on my samsung galaxy s2 but the feedback is that my phone is not compactible but other galaxy s2 phones are using the same software to watch dstv.the software is even not on the app market.i want that fix now

Leo, 10 Dec 2011Thank for the info I understand some batch of this set has ... moreThe one I bought came with Gingerbread 2.3.3 without the screen defect and I am presently on Gingerbread 2.3.6. When you want to buy it at Slot and ready to pay, they will test the phone and allow you to go through it. So you just go straight to browser, press menu button and lower the brightness to minimum, if the background of the browser still remains white without any stain then you can be sure it has no screen defect. that was how i bought mine although the first phone that was given to me was the one i eventually bought because it never had any problem with the screen.
You will not slight warmness when doing heavy task, it's normal. If you are using the while charging it, it could also go warmer which is normal.
Buy the phone if you like it. You will have no regrets at all!

I have this phone and it is really the best phone that I have ever used. I havs 2 questions. Sometime playing games or watching videos already downloaded, the phone gets stuck. Then I have to switch off the phone and then restart it again. Why is it so? My second question is that now the phone runs on Ginerbread. Can I upgrade the phone to Honeycomb when available?

I'm using sgs2 for about a month I get battery heat when playing games my sgs2 run on 2.3.3 but now I flashed with latest miui rom and no more heat when playing games now..on my gs2 there is no yellow spot or anything like that..but battery drain quite fast..but thats the prices you pay when usin dualcore. i like gs2 and lookin forward to gs3 no i dont like galaxy nexus it just like small upgrade from gs2. :)

Had mine 6 months with no problems,i got my 2000mA real Samsung extended battery with door from mobilefun.co.uk. THe white one keeps going out of stock.

It says next to OS, Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread), planned upgrade to v4.0. what does the planned upgrade to v4.0 mean? does it mean that android are planning on bringing out a new version of android? because the HTC Sensation only says Andorid OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread). thanks
