vishy, 10 Dec 2011hey think of buying the gs2 but the yellow screen issueis b... moreNo. Unfortunately, there is no fix dor the "yelloww scren" problem. Just google and you'll find out it's a common, widespread problem.
In fact, that is why Samsung gave up on the Amoled "PLUS", and newer models have plain "Amoled" screens, which even with higher resolutions, don't appear to have that problem.
If it's there, you're pretty much stuck with it for the rest of your phone's life.

Just bought one some 2 months ago but malfunctioned after 2 weeks. Even Samsung Service center techs are still trying to fix it after 2 months.
I have been left without a phone for that long.
The phone is covered by 12months warranty.
I need more professionalism on their part in handling issues that border on integrity and trust.
I urge Samsung authority in Port Harcourt, NIGERIA to intervene before the whole thing gets out of hand.

I bought mine from Slot and there's no single problem whatsoever. I've been using it for about 3months now. It's made it in China by Samsung. I wish u can see mine in real life! Super, Excellent!

Finally the updated version of this phone in Australia has finall been available, the 2.3.5, it use to be a 2.3.3. I just did it by clicking in the setting, about phone then click software update and it download by itself, I didn't need kies or any PC to do it I just did it through this awesome phone, there's heaps difference now on my , it solve my battery problem and there's a lot of extra feature on it. So c'mon fellow Oz update it phone now.

i agree with TC..i have a white sg2 and it does not heat up..even after continued use for 5/6 hours.
This phone is absolutely great cannot fault it, no problems at all.
