Unfortunately most S2 phones have BOTH the yello... moreSo, I set a white background on my phone, took a screenshot of it, uploaded it to my PC, open up my photoshop, click on the color picker, then click on the whites across the entire screen, all the corners and the middle, and the color picker reads 255 for R G B. Meaning the screen is free from any tinting. And this is what GSMarena does on its review.(Just that when they did this test on their test unit, it happens to have the yellow tint issue.) I'm here to say, NOT EVERY SGS2 UNITS HAVE THE YELLOW TINT ISSUE!

Answer those honestly and say again that this phone is not an iPhone killer.

As you said over all it's good phone maybe the best Android phone till date but still not an iPhone killer.

Or maybe they got the fake units, you know nowadays, lots of immitations.
Especially when the product is selling like hot cakes.
As far as I know, S2 is better than other smartphone available now and the GSMArena current ratings by rate will speak for it.
If you have doubt, then don't buy it.

im using galaxy s2 for almost 3 weeks now... i compared it to my friends phones iphone 4 , 4s, lg x2 and arc nothing beats my s2 in every aspect. .
my s2 running 2.3.5 rooted
PROS :
great display
camera
browser
updates
for me battery is not an issue my s2 will last 2 days with txting , 1 hour video chat, 1hour to 2 hours gaming, seldom camera, wifi for 3 to 4 hours. .live wallpapers for sometime if i want to see its stunning display. .
CONS:
nothing you cant find a perfect phone its up to you how you enjoy and value it
TIPS :
dont install task killer or battery saver or any apps that are promising for a better battery and performance YOU DONT NEED IT . .

Just Bought Samsung Galaxy S 2.I Moved on to Samsung Galaxy S 2 after using an iPhone 4.I don't give a s*** about the cold war between iOS and android really, I'm just a Gadget fanatic and I'll just share my experience:
-The 4.3" Screen is beautiful...Very sensitive and accepts the Slightest of touches (You should not expect anything less from a High-end Capacitive ).The Color contrast is good and deep.Viewing angles is Really good,It works great even under direct sunlight.You'll love watching Videos/Movies.Does not give you the sharpest imaging,though only to the point where you wont even bother, or in my opinion you would probably not even notice. so thats completely Ok...
-The 8MP still camera is Good.Produces some decent Pics,but the performance drops down very badly in low lights which results as very noisy pictures.
-The Camcorder is ofcourse capable of recording true HD Videos.It produces very good and crisp results-Detailed,Sharp etc. But again in low lights the performence drops down Badly losing datails,and adding Noise.
-Ok now I am on 2.3.4 Gingerbread and "No" I dont have the tint issue,so I dont really understand what people are talking about.If people are talking about the palish whites in all of white portions in the screen than let me clear you that it is how an Amoled display looks like And no complains.I don't really have any tint anywhere on my screen not on the lower left,nor on the notification bar etc etc.
-The battery Life is really bad.By the end of the day you'd wan't to charge your phone even with moderate use,and with about 2 hours+ of heavy use it won't last untill the end of your day,or will just make it.With that Specs and Screen Samsung should have really done something about this issue.
-The loudspeaker is really bad.A High-end phone with bad Speakers makes no sense for me,and unfortunately this is my concern with all Samsung handsets, Also HTC.Ofcourse when you plug in your Headphones the results are different,that is good.
-Oh Boy !!! Samsung Galaxy S 2 is a performer.With that RAM,GPU and a 1.2 GHZ Dual Core CPU you will never ever come across any lag,I tepeat "Never".Ofcourse sometimes things malfunctions and needs a restart but you wouldn't find a phone without this issue so thats completely OK...actually More than ok...
-About the UI It's simple and gets the job done.But to be frank I don't really like Samsung's TouchWiz UI but with Android you have Options.
-You don't need to worry About Apps.The entire Android Market is yours for the taking.You wouldn't find an App/Games (HD) that a Galaxy S 2 won't run Smooth as Butter.
Overall I'd say Samsung Galaxy S 2 is a Solid phone.One of the very best in the business.Everything has its own advantage and flaws if you can compromise on few flaws of the Samsung Galaxy S 2 than it will give you one of the best smartphone experience ever.You would not regret buying This phone,Not a chance.
