Both phones are excellent but HTC has lower specification in few areas whereas S2 has better specs. Only good thing with HTC is you will be getting BEAT audio headset. Also consider after sale service while buying any phone.

Unfortunately most S2 phones have BOTH the yellow tint fault AND the pink spot problem on the camera that actually appears on your printed phoptos!
It's ok if you don't want to see it, if you are such a fan that you don't mind it, or even if you photoshop all your photos do disguise the problem.
It's there., I've exchanged mine and it is still there.
Telling it isn't, won't make it go away, nor will it motivate Samsung to improve the quality of their products.
I buy them, I pay for them, so I expect them to be - as promised and announced - top quality phones.
Whenever that is not the case we do have the right to indignation and the freedom to say what we know it's true.

but it 100% surely does not harm the phone,
It gets heated after continuous 1hour use say on Gaming or Internet surfing.
But it cools down soon.
Yellow tint thing, check the few posts below, no hard feelings.

I don't understand why ppl are saying that EVERY GS2 has the'Bottom Left Corner Yellow Tint' issue, cause the truth is a clear 'No' with an exclaimation mark.
I'm a videophile, I do display(screen) research for years, if there's any visible BLCYT issue, it's impossible for me to miss it, and I have so far seen 7 diff sets of GS2 and fortunally none of it has the issue.
As of the common yellow tint issue across the whole display(especially at low brightness), then YES, it's the disadvantage of EVERY LED display or any LED backlit/side-lit LCDs. As for the LEFT CORNER TINTED issue, hell no, less than majortiy of the GS2 has it.
Stop spreading rummors.

HTC Sensation XE, LG Optimus 2X/3D, etc should not be even taken into consideration with this beast.

I bet you'll find a slight tint of yellow on left bottom or the entire side itself.
If not then looks like you are the chosen one :D
