just brought my sgs2 and love it. i have a question,my sgs2 took like 3-4 hours till fully charge is it normal? and when usin it for gaming for more than 10minutes my sgs2 is heat up is it fine? and is there any apps to check battery temperature? pls help me anyone,and thx in advance.

I am holding this phone since few days, waiting for better battery backup, ICS may satisfy my need.
My Question is:
Q)Is this phone eligible for ICS update? if so, please share your thoughts.

Just a recap for a better battery life:
1. Use 'appSaver' from Market. Download & install as many apps you like. Backup up (keep them handy for later installation)all on SD card and uninstall those not used regularly. More apps installed, more memory used, more battery drained.
2. Keep Network mode GSM or WCDMA. Auto mode consumes more juice.
3.Un-check Background data( A/c & Sync)
4.Use Super Task Killer. Use it with Task Manager to free RAM whenever you are free to behold and praise beauty of your Superb Galaxy S2.
5.Auto brightness only at outdoors and minimum at indoors is sufficient and NO to Live wallpaper too.
6. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth & GPS off when not in use.
7. Use Power saving mode when low battery .
Airplane mode never recommended in night. You may miss some urgent call.

It will lead you to the used GPRS and WiFi bytes.
You can also set your monthly GPRS usage limit under "Settings" then "Monthly quota".

don't put the brightness to auto when indoor, put the brightness to the minimum that will satisfy you, don't use landscape wallpaper, use only portrait simple wallpaper and never use live wallpaper.
