In the O2 Shop, this is quoted to have a maximum Battery Life of 18 Hours of Talk Time.
This is actually the best Battery Life I could find, on any Phone Handset.
(I have a feeling that the AMOLED. Display, uses less power than other Displays.).
The only thing that You need to remember is that every Application that You run on Android, uses more Power.
Also, if You use Bluetooth and/ or Wi-Fi, and/ or listen to music... And so on...
The Battery is going to be gone, a lot faster.
(It sounds obvious, but People haven't been told, "This Battery was tested in these conditions.".).
Additionally, if it's a cold Day, the Power will drain faster.

I assume your talking about the phones packet data and not the wifi Go to settings, Wireless and networks, mobile networks and make sure the apn settings are correct for your service provider

its 2 mp front camera is awesome...u can record video like 720p hd video by this 2 mp front camera of galaxy s2...photos of 1600*1280 resolution are looks lyk 5 mp cameras photos...i lyk galaxy s2 instead of lg optimus black,2X,nokia n8,sony xperia arc,apple and any smartphone having budget of 19,000 INR and onwards...

Galaxy SII rocks...battery life is good for such a large screen phone.It easily lasts for a day.I charge my phone at early morning then after all browsing,listening music surfing over wifi sometimes 3G,watching videos,playing games for half an hour,doing extra stuff and 3 hours of voice calls my battery goes down till midnight.So there is no problem for me as i can charge it next morning.I would like to tell you that i don't use any battery saver app and switch off my phone when i go to sleep at midnight.
And about the skype video call,it's best on both 3G as well as over wifi.I use it several times and it's like awsome.Galaxy SII can do evrything i suppose.

This is the best phone I have ever used.
Call quality is excellent and the phone is very sleek.
With wifi and data package turned off, the battery life lasts for one day or more.

how long is the battery life?is it true that all andriod phones battery are good only for 1 day use?because i have a samsung galaxy ace and its battery when on standby time last only for 2 days and if you use it for calling,texting or any other application it last only for 1 day.please i need to know before i buy samsung galaxy SII.tnx.

I went to the Mobile Networks , Use Packet data is ticket, Netork mode is GSM/WCDMA (Auto)and the Data network mode activated and the Flight mode is off but still I can't see the icon E that shows connectivity. Otherwise I like everything in this phone. The camera and video quality is great and at some stage the quality of the picture is better than the original. The sound quality is suparb
