Yup SGS2 is worth the buck. Just want to share my opinion about SGS2. I used SGS1 for 11 monhts, lag was really a problem. I tried OCLF w/c slightly improved but still a bad experience. I flashed custom ROMs and Darky 9.5 worked the best as far as my exp is concerned. Voodoo with Ext4 worked great and the sound improved dramatically. However, given the limitations of SGS1, the phone would often restart. SPB Shell 3D was unusable, there was frequent homescreen redraws when using ADW Ex, Launcher Pro was also good but really the overall experience on SGS2 is simply WAAAAYYYY better than SGS1. EVERY problem Ive had with SGS1 is resolved in SGS2 and offers more than what I asked for.
I am so pleased and happy that if Samsung keeps ahead of the smartphone game I am surely getting the SGS3! For now all I can say is this is an amazing sh!t of a phone! :)

Ok guys look, ive had my SGS2 since May so i know what im talking about. To save Battery Life try these few simple steps to see an improvement :-
1) use less homescreens, at 1st it seems cool to have 7 or 5 homescreens but do you really need them, i now have 2 with just the things i need & use on them
2) lower your brightness, i keep mine on half the brightness level & with the Super Amoled Plus screen i find it is still bright enough
3) at 1st i had a live wallpaper background, but now im happy with an ordinary picture as my wallpaper, it looks good & saves battery life too
4)in settings,display,background effect-i have mine set to Standard & then i change it to Dynamic when i go outside, try it you'll see why i do that
5) in settings,Accounts & Sync - make sure your Background data is switched OFF, if you tick this box or switch it on then any apps you have downloaded can automatically update themselves send or recieve data without you knowing & this could seriously drain your battery within hours
6) be sure to download Samsung Kies & using a USB cable check for the latest firmware update
7) in widgets(keep your finger on any homescreen page), i find it useful to have the Program Monitor on my homepage to let me know of any Active Applications i may have forgotten to close down
8)finally, in settings, Applications, Running services, i check these from time to time & get rid of any that i dont need to be on that list, this is a personal choice though, i only have Digital clock, AccuWeather, Swype & settings is always there as standard.
I now get a good 2 days out of my battery having made a few calls, sent a number of texts & watched a movie, try a few of these things & im sure you'll notice a difference if you've been struggling with your battery life, good luck.

i like the specification of this phone.. definitely you're getting the best out of your money! hopefully the processor will be 1.5 ghz.. can they do it quadcore like what rooters did.. hehe.. i like a stylus like what galaxy note has.. but this phone is the best of its era.. haha// good thing is that the front facing camera is 2mp..

The Internet on my S2 is very slow, its the same speed that was on my SE X10... so it is it faster. Also how do I check the processor configuration on my handset.

I recently brought a new samsung s2. the design and application is superb. the only draw back is a wifi issue, we cannot connect to all the routers. if there are any updates on the wifi then this is the 21st century gadget that one must get to experience in this changing technological journey. i am sure this set will last for few years until the next conquerer comes in.

hey guys this is very good mobile well i will say best mobile ,just a drawback its battery backup but its a best phone looks are great , and performance is best
