My N8 freezes more than 2 times every day, and webbrowsing is a real pain, and the camera is good compared to other phones but can not compete with a dedicated real camera! N8 is very bulky!
S2 is a much better smartphone, and the camera is more than good enough for every smartphoneuser because if you need a professional camera then not even N8 is good enough!

Remember the n8,,,all the hype,,then big disapointment, same fate could be in for n9,,,,nokia has dropped their game ,,i love my galaxy2,,but I do hope nokia can come back,,,the n9 does look good,,we will all soon know

I wanted to marry her but she ran away wid N8, okay Nokia 6600 was also much beautiful than S2. I wanted to make her ma new gf but i found that she was a lesbo, fine Nokia 1100 is a great smartphone ever made n coz f that S2 is so jealous that it has decided to suicide, really Nokia 3310 is still largest selling phone in the whole universe even on mars, jupiter, saturn n pluto.... Sounds crazy but its a fact... Nokia rocks all over... Symbian rules... Yuppieeeee m a symbian fan... M master f the universe.... Dnt mess wid me android fans or else i will kill that robo android boy n throw its arms n legs on the moon, till then u watch a cartoon....

Nokia n8 give you everything you need :) free life time :) gps great audio quailty and note n8 give you best voice quailty :) but poor audio quailty in galaxy sII and voice quailty is bad not as good as n8 . Next time do not look to space

Have you used N8. I agree with the specs you mentioned,but let me tell you a 680mhz processor in n8 can do almost all the stuff your SGS2 does. i've used both these handsets. symbian belle works much better than my other android handset, thats a fact.
And RAM: 256mb in n8 can multitast like a moster, the multitasking in symbian^3 is the best multitasking ever.
Design: N8 has a unibody anodized aluminium, it has a real solid feel, much better than a cheap plastic samsung Galaxy S2.
Apps: microsoft is providing better apps next year, wait and watch.
I'm not denying that SGS2 is not capable, its a monster i know that, never underestimate N8, it has its own potential.
Why you need a dual core and extra RAM when a single core is capable of doing all those stuff, its a waste of money and resources.
ANDROID is copy of the ios. Thats a fact, you should accept it.........

Anonymous, 10 Sep 2011Lets be honest it is a very child like phone full of gimmic... morewhao... cool down..n i must say u got some guts coming here n downgrading one of the most powerful phones.. and that to to a symbian platform.hey do u have any enmity with samsung. anyways on what basis r u comparing the two. ur n8 only has a better cam.nuthing else. obviously u must know the diff between the two processors. 1.2 ghz vs 680 mhz.. biiiiggg diff.
moreover s2 has an hsdpa of 21 mbps whereas n8 is 10. again faster downloading speed for s2.
plus s2 is nt only faster cause of cpu but also because of its ram. 1gb ram against nokias 256 mb. not even half on s2.
smaller screen size for n8.
design wise, the s2 is sleek.. n8 is bulky. (i even like the n8's design n feel though.)
a vga secondary camera vs a 2mp cam for samsung. the difference is evident.
and even android has offline maps.
no wifi direct in n8. tht means no high speed data transfer. n by high speed i mean transferring a 150 mb file within seconds.
no nfc for nokia yet.
with majority of the phones running on android, there r thousands of applications to choose from. symbian loses out badly compared to android.
a much sharper display for s2. so it means bigger screen n a much sharper display, better graphics than n8.
so how on earth do u say n8 is better than this monster. well u wud like n8 only if
- u like photography
or
-u work for nokia.
else its completely baseless to compare the two. even on the net u may find tht s2 is majorly compared with iphone4 and htc sensation. but n8 is far behind my friend. even i was a big fan of nokia but this fone has changed it all.
